Ratings for Dr. Susan E. Henley
Worst office ever! I was diagnosed with atypical adrenal insufficiency by my PCP. My PCP sent my records to Dr Henley's office on 4 separate occasions over a period of 3 weeks and everytime I followed up, I was told they never received them. When they did finally get my records, they told me there was no way I had adrenal insufficiency and I didn't need to be seen, even though I had blood tests that prove I have an insufficiency. I am now on life saving steroids because my PCP is a real doc.
Was the worst experience ever. This office treats people poorly. The office manager is an embezzler of office funds. We don't have many choices of endo's in Col Springs and Henly knows it and treats people as such. Waiting 6 months to get in to see her or her nurse or other staff is ridiculous. Diabetes is nothing to mess with an frankly she doesn't care. If you don't like her manner she says you can go elsewhere. Denver or Pueblo isn't that far way to drive. I say do it....run don't walk as fast as you can. She's wicked!
Henley refuses to prescribe Armour Thyroid to patients who need it. She will only prescribe Synthroid, which makes some patients very sick and gives them migraines. She is obviously on the take from a pharmaceutical and does not care about her patient's well being. She's doing what is profitable and easy for her. I would not recommend her to anyone.
I saw the PA, Amy Johnson as Dr. Henley could not see me for two months and being that I am very ill...I took the first available appointment. Amy was BY FAR the WORST 'medical professional' I have EVER come into contact with and I acutally had to end the appointment 5 minutes after we walked into the exam room. I have NEVER had to walk out of a doctor's appointment due to such poor treatment as I did on this day. Incompetent, RUDE, Condesending...the list could go on and on. VERY VERY SAD.
Dr. Henley is compassionate, patient, knowledgeable all wrapped up in a fabuluous bedside manner. Her ability to communicate at her listener's level is rarely found in physicians. Yes, the wait for an appointment is lengthy, yet the time she give to you is of intense quality...well worth the wait.
