I think it is a shame that Dr. Trester and his wife don't take the opportunity to examine the common threads in these negative reviews instead of lashing out. I don't think Dr Trester is a bad chiropractor, but I think some of his techniques and business practices are questionable. After almost a year gone from Dr Trester, I've started seeing a new practitioner who uses many techniques including active muscle release. I've also been made aware that x-rays are not necessary or recommended unless there has been major trauma (car accident). Certainly not the two sets issued by Dr Trester in 8 months. The goal of a practitioner should be to have you come in less often as you heal. Not on an endless plan of weekly treatments. I can only hope that this review is taken by Dr Trester and his wife as it was intended. As an opportunity to reflect and update.

This office is very clean and has a nice welcoming vibe. I was very pleased with my experience with front desk assistant and with Dr. Trester. The front desk assistant Shalene is sweet and very helpful. Dr Trester is great. He listened to me during the consultation and was very thorough during my examination. I recommend you to try this office out. They have an excellent holistic approach.

*WARNING* Do Not Procede. I wish that I had read the reviews prior to visiting Dr. Trestor. That being said, at least my perception is genuine. Let me start by saying that I've been to a few very good Chiropractors, one following a car accident and another after a nasty sporting accident fractured my back. I found the approach VERY rehearsed and painfully orchestrated to rope you into a commitment, the pitch WREAKED of bad used car sales tactics. Being that my past Chiro was a renowned sports chiropractor I still entered with an open mind. First red flag: when asking the doctor about his methodology, or plans to recovery. Every answer was a cliff hanger, nothing clear. (Either desperately needs your business or isn't confident enough to share) Second red flag: pushy sales tactics, cleverly shuffling you around and pushing to book you in for a very saturated adjustment schedule and eager trying to up sell "pillows". Third Red Flag: Denounced classical chiropractic metholdoly and claims TRT (torque release technique) is the new way. I'm sorry, but a tiny piston driven by a spring is hardly an appropriate method, doing research I also found many sources denouncing YOUR technique. Fourth Red Flag: The moment Dr. Trestor noticed my adversity to his practise, he became VERY defensive, denouncing my commitment and attempting to make me feel guilty for my doubt. Imediately insinuating that I do not respect my health. My suggestion, AVOID this place at all costs. Do more time researching, and don't fall for this garbage. Respect your health and time, and find a real chiropractor. Wife (aka receptionist is friendly) and the adjust - "mints" were tasty though.

Dr. Randall Trester's response
*WARNING* this review is full of false and misleading statements and could not be further from the truth. If you "past chiro was a renowned sports chiropractor" why were you even at our office in the 1st place. Regardless, we are not desperate for your business, just here to help people who are interested in our help and getting well. Your plan of care was recommended solely on the results of your evaluation and x-rays if they were taken and have nothing to do with selling you on anything except getting better. We do not denounce any other chiropractic techniques and focus on explaining how the technique works that we do to help patients. There is endless amounts of research that proves how effective Torque Release Technique is on many levels so whatever "sources" you have found are probably not based in fact or actual research. It is too bad you have such animosity towards our office and feel the need to write such false, defamatory and malicious statements. We are only here to help people with their health. That's it and to suggest anything else is just not correct. Hopefully you have been able to find somewhere else better suited to your needs. Godspeed.

I went in with an open mind despite all the negative reviews, but they were all right. I didn't feel comfortable when I felt pressured to a long term treatment plan before I was even adjusted. I didn't know what my schedule was like and couldn't commit and so I paid for 2 sessions for that week, I tried to cancel my last appointment but I was told I had to speak to the Doctor in order for me to cancel (I've never heard of that before). I didn't make it to my appointment but never heard from them. I guess because I already paid for my "visit". Please see link of potential red flags about Chiropractic techniques. Points 3 and 4 stood out the most in my case. http://www.spine-health.com/treatment/chiropractic/questions-ask-about-chiropractic-techniques

Dr. Randall Trester's response
The following is in response to your previous points since it is clear who wrote it: -We have dozens of positive reviews from our amazing patients that we get the opportunity to help everyday which is our purpose and what we love to do. -YOUR plan was for a maximum of 4 months total which is not long term for YOUR condition. -Of course you are able to cancel your appointment, but you did not call the office back at the arranged phone appointment time to process your request. -We have never heard back from you after your arranged phone appointment was missed, but will be happy to help you directly to resolve your situation. -You mention points 3 & 4 stood out in your case for the red flags you listed in the link above. -Here is Point 3: " •The chiropractor recommends a long-term treatment plan, such as 3 times per week for 6 to 12 months, then 2 times per week for another 6 to 12 months, then 1 time per week for 6 or more months. -Your plan was 2x/week for 2 months then 1x/week for 2 months total which is nothing even close to what is stated in Point 3 and is stated on your treatment plan sheet you were given. Here is Point 4: "•The chiropractor requires a substantial prepayment for unlimited treatment for 6 months to a year. -No prepayment is required for treatment for 6 months to a year or anything like that in our office. The 2 options are to pay for your visits weekly as you go or do a prepayment for a maximum of 12 visits, but the prepayment is not a requirement for treatment which again is stated on the sheet your were given. -We do not understand why you are attempting to make these claims after only 1 treatment in our office which all seem contradictory to your actual case and not true about how our office actually works. -We are here to help people get well and love being able to serve our community. -Our passion is to help people improve the quality of their life by improving the quality of their health so it is unfortunate that we did not get this opportunity with you and that you did not get the chance to receive these benefits. -Hopefully you can find someone else better suited to take care of you. Godspeed -

I made great improvements with his treatment. He's more than just a chiropractor for your back. He is very knowledgeable and professional. I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking to improve their overall health condition.

Dr Trester and his wife are scams. They are pushy, make you feel uncomfortable, and don't do anything to help your condition. They charge $45 for 1-2 little punches per session that never made me feel any different. I went for $450 X-rays and 36 sessions and nothing was resolved. I have never had such an unpleasant encounter with a medical professional.

Dr. Randall Trester's response
We are not "scams" and have not scammed anyone ever. We are here to help people with their health which have been doing for almost 15 years and take very seriously. Your statements are false, defamatory and full of misleading comments. The little "punches" you refer to are Torque Release Technique adjustments which is one of the most modern and researched chiropractic techniques. It's unfortunate if you feel you did not improve, but that is something we should been informed about at the office by you to figure any way to help with your care. X-rays in our office are $158 and have been for years, NOT $450. It's too bad you feel it's necessary to attack us anonymously rather than communicate with us at our office. We are on our patients side. We are here to serve and do our best to help and to say anything else is just flat out wrong. Godspeed.

Pushy & sales oriented. Made me feel guilty for not coming more. Did not have my back issues resolved. Went to another chiro and issue was resolved quickly.
