Dr Lee was not active in getting my biopsy results. I repeatedly called/left messages. Biopsy report was written 5/29/finally received written notification dated 6/12, dx: Primary Biliary Cirrhosis - stage 3. I repeatedly called to have a follow-up appt and was told there are none and I would be called when there was. I called to be on a cancellation list, and still none. I called and requested that he at least prescribe the medicine I needed so that I could get started while I waited to be fitted in someplace. His nurse called to say he said b/c PBC had no cure so there was nothing to give! It's clear with access to a computer that PBC is treated with ursodiol, which can possibly slow the progression of the ds. Dr Lee did not even give me the courtesy of a call. My personal opinion is that he should first get a computer and second take some ethical patient care classes. I could have slipped to stage 4 w/o knowing something might help slow this ds, if I did not inform myself
