Ratings for Dr. Rick A. Beach
Was referred to Dr. Beach by my PCM in the hope that he could help me detox from the meds I'd been prescribed and had taken over 7 months for pain management. This was my decision. Unlike the other patients at this facility, I was not addicted-I was dependent. I had thorough exams-mental and physical; Dr B.,using a combination of medications, got me off the drug I was on without withdrawal symptoms in less than 4 mo.He insisted that I did NOT belong in THAT clinic setting, so I followed all instructions at home, went in 2-3 times/week to be certain my blood pressure, etc. was ok.When this treatment finished, Dr. Beach, after a great deal of persuasion, prescribed a medicine that allowed me to function. It backed the pain off and kept me out of the ER.Since the majority of patients were there under court order for drug abuse, discount many of these statements.Consider the source. His addiction protocols now are used nationally. I thank him daily.May he continue to practice.
They try to suck you in. At the beginning they pretend to care, once the big money is paid for the initial stuff they just turn on you. I was in a bad situation with a surgery and they didn't do anything to help. I had been there for months. I am trying to get my records and I know another person who has been trying to get theirs. The turn over in office staff in the last months has been a problem. I am very dissatisfied and feel that this Dr. needs to be shut down. They also made me pay cash for group therapy, even though I had insurance to cover it. I am sad for anyone who goes there.
R. Beach has dropped the ball on me. He immediately sent me to rehab, a nuerologist had me on pain meds for 6 years, other than 3 meetings a week and the order of MRI, nothing else has been done regarding the pain issue i initially presented with. He has told me that I AM AN ADDICT AND I MUST ATTEND MEETINGS, OR HE MAY NOT TREAT ME. there has been no follow up regarding MRI even though with results in December, he "needed to talk to a neurosurgeon" he has only sent me for nerve conduction studies. WHAT Since i have been involved, just in my "group" alone, I know of 4 people who have dropped out. I will not return, staff is rude, I am drug tested. I became addicted to the extreme meds, but I am NOT an addict. I went to him for help with chronic pain and to get some explaination to my injury and after almost 5 months, NOTHING HAS BEEN ADDRESSED
I WENT TO THIS DOCTOR AND HE THINKS THAT HE IS A GOD. HE HONESTLY BELIEVES THAT EVERYONE WHO HAS EVERY USED A NARCOTIC IS A DRUG ADDICT AND HE TREATS YOU LIKE ONE. IF HE CAN'T "HEAL YOU" FROM EITHER FIBROMYALGIA OR A PAIN CONDITION, HE FINDS A REASON TO BLAME YOUR FAMILY, UPBRINGING - ANYTHING BUT HIS WONDERFUL TREATMENT PLAN. I'D STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUY AND HIS GROUP OF CRONIES WHO REALLY DON'T HAVE MUCH TO OFFER EXCEPT BLAME ON THE POOR PATIENT - NOT ON THEMSELVES. PS THEY WILL KEEP YOU COMING BACK FOR MORE APPOINTMENTS AND KEEP TAKING YOUR COPAYS, SO BE VERY, VERY, VERY CAREFUL. A FORMER PATIENT
