Ratings for Dr. Salvador D. Ramos
This man is so awesome..Had gastric bypass in Aug 2012 by him..had a few issues ( not anything to do with him)This man went way far beyond the call of duty..before surgery ..hosptial stay and months after coming home..He is a very caring and giving doctor that does what ever it take for his patients..Would I do the surgery again..you betcha as long as the doctor is by my side..Keep up the great and awesome work..and thanks again for saving my life..I owe my life to you..
DR RAMOS PREFORMED GASTRIC SURGERY AND REMOVED MY GALL BLADDER DUE TO STONES. HE DID BOTH PROCEDURES AT THE SAME TIME THRU LAPAROSCOPIC SURGERY.MY EXPERIENCE WITH DR. RAMOS AND HIS STAFF IS EXEMPLARY. THEY ARE PROFESSIONAL.THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE AND INTERACTION WITH DR RAMOS,IS HE GOES ABOVE AND BEYOND THE CALL OF DUTY.MY PROCEDURE WAS ESTIMATED TO BE 1.5 HOURS TO 2.0 HOURS,WITH SEVEN SMALL INCISIONS. IT TOOK HIM 5 HOURS TO DO THE PROCEDURE.HE TOOK THE TIME TO DO THIS LAPAROSCOPIC SURGERY INSTEAD OF JUST CUTTING ME OPEN WHEN HE RAN INTO DIFFICULTY INSTEAD OF JUST TAKING A SHORT CUT.THE RECOVERY TIME IS MUCH LONGER SO HE MADE 9 INCISIONS AND TOOK THE TIME TO SAVE ME THE AGGRAVATION OF A LONG RECOVERY AND A BETTER CHANCE OF RECOVERING FROM THIS DIFFICULT SURGERY. HIS FOLLOW UP IN THE HOSPITAL AFTER MY SURGERY WAS JUST AS IMPRESSIVE.I HAVE READ THE NEGATIVE REVIEW IN THIS PAGE AND AM SORRY THAT THIS HAPPENED TO THAT WRITERS MOTHER, BUT THERE ARE RISKS WITH ANY SURGERY.JAY G.
He has been my wife's doctor for about 8 months, prior surgeon for her procedure misplaced the port for her lap band. Dr. Ramos saw this inaccuracy and got her worked in to surgery in just two weeks. The port was driving itself into her ribs and causing pain, Dr. Ramos is a good guy, would recommend him anyday! Good sense of humor too, puts you at ease.
