I had to lie to a walk in clinic and tell them that I did not have a family doctor in order to actually be referred to someone who could see me for my PREGNANCY. Dr Price finally called me when I was 14 weeks along to schedule an appointment. During pregnancy you need to see a doctor once every 4 weeks at the beginning. Completely unacceptable to wait until 14 weeks to even call, let alone probably not schedule an appointment until several weeks later and knowing her she would have probably cancelled that one too. Thankfully the walk in was able to refer me to the iwk and my baby and I are both healthy. But I had to lie to them because "technically" I have a family doctor, I'm just unable to actually see her.
I am posting this on behalf of ALL of her patients that have been effected as she NEVER keeps an appointment time. As she ALWAYS seems to be "SICK" on MONDAY and FRIDAY...Her off days are now on TUESDAY AND THURSDAY...so she only works from 2pm until 8pm on Wednesday 's and still calls in sick on those days...have to wait months for appointments due to her constant "OUT DAYS" and to top it off she takes 4 months ago year in vacation time when she should be making up for all the SICK TIME she misses...even my pharmacists insist she is in component and should be reported and they suggested that I should a doctor to meet my needs and one that actually WORKS!!! VERY DISAPPOINTED AND DISCOURAGED THAT SHE GETS AWAY WITH DOING THIS TO HER PATIENTS! IT IS NOT RIGHT TO US OR TO TO HER STAFF NOR TO THE OTHER DOCTORS AND NURSES WHO HAVE TO PICK UP HER SLACK!!!
It's next to impossible to get an appoint with Dr Price. She's my family doctor, but only takes "same day" appointments if you are lucky enough to get through between 8:30 AM and when she's fully booked by 9:00 PM. Also she appears to only be in the office 1-2 days a week. Combine these two bottlenecks and it's almost impossible to see her. Yet on paper you have a family doctor, so it would be hard to justify switching to another one. On the positive side, if you get to see her after weeks/months of trying, she seems to know her stuff. Just don't depend on her for anything other than getting prescriptions refilled or you'll die of old age waiting! Sorry to be so blunt, but this is the way it is. If she is unable or unwilling to work, perhaps she could relinquish her license to some other doctor that you can actually see.
This has to be the worst Dr I have ever been to. Always sick and cancels her appointments and is now only taking same day bookings! She is my family Dr but I can never get an appointment with her! So I am stuck waiting or going to the in call Dr when available. So angry and want to switch Drs!
Almost impossiable to every get an appointment specailly with same day bookings. Front desk is completely not helpful and seem to goo to every try to help you and always rush you off the phone. Deff would recommened better people to be answering the phones with better personal skills
