Dr. McConnell is a snake oil salesman with his wife and staff ready to convince you that $9k meds are your only means to "keep you around." They will call and get you in there as many times as necessary to convince you that you are sick. Meanwhile his iffice waiting room is wall to wall elderly people cinnected to oxygen. DO NOT GIVE HIM YOUR INFORMATION such as retirement, income, etc. DO NOT BE FOOLED by the kind, phoney bedside manner, or credentials. My father us doing just fine on a different med that's not draining all he ever worked for. BEWARE.

This man is an arrogant, horse's behind. My husband went to Jewish Hospital's ER presenting with chest pain, wheezing, and shortness of breath. After an entire day tests including chest x-ray and blood work, the cardiologist stopped by at 10:30 pm after a long day of doing procedures. He kind, patient and concerned. He decided to do a cardiac cath because of a strong family history of early death due to cardiac issues. Although, he indicated that he felt there were pulmonary issues, as well. The next morning, Dr. McConnell breezed in and seemed very annoyed to have to come in. He looked at my husband and stated that he had been called in by the cardiologist, but had no idea why. He stayed less than 5 minutes and gave no insight whatsoever. After the cardiac cath, the cardiologist reported that the heart was fine and he was convinced the issue was pulmonary. He said that he would confer with the Interstitial pulmonoloigist. But, Dr. McConnell never came back, just sent a message that my husband had a pulmonary obstruction, possibly adult onset asthma. We demanded to see him before my husband was released and he sent a collegue, who is less than 5 minutes gave a diagnosis of pnuemonia (no evidence on the chest x-ray, no fever, no high white count)? The search continues for answers whilst my husband suffers with the exact same symptoms he had when he entered the ER three days prior. Although, I am quite sure we will be receiving a bill for Dr. McConnell's "services."
