Ratings for Dr. Mohammed Ibrahim
Great doctor. Have taken a few of our family elders to see him many times over the years. Warm, knowledgable and great with seniors.. but seems to have a mental block/refusal to acknowledge how difficult his current setup is to get through to book an appointment. Usually busy signals or "closed for lunch/don't leave a message" recordings even during regular business hours. The result is an effective senior filter. I feel bad for folks that dont have younger POA's to wrestle past this for them. It may seem fine to him but he's managed to download this to the patient. For that reason alone I'll probably need to find them another Urologist. Its a shame because once you get past the phone fortress the experience is great.
I saw doctor Ibrahim regarding Prostatitis earlier in 2016. He didn't gave me much attention when I was explaining my symptoms and issues to him and just gave me Antibiotics . After a month when antibiotics didn't work , he did a cystoscopy at Brampton hospital. And right after painful cystoscopy he confirmed prostatitis and gave me antibiotics for next 3 months and told me to see him in 3 months. My symptoms got way worse after cystoscopy and antibiotics. So, I went to see him again after month or so. This time he just said "there is no treatment for Prostatitis and all you can do is take antibiotics and pray.Just learn to live with it". So, I had a terrible terrible experience with him regarding my Prostate inflammation. He is a very experienced and senior urologist but I think that has no clue on how to deal with a Prostatitis patients.I would never recommend him to anyone. He could have a done prostate drainage and examined prostatic fluid for any signs of infection and inflammation and treat it with specific antibiotics and herbal remedies which I ended up doing at a different doctor and saw relief with my condition.
Dr. Ibrahim is a very warm, knowledgeable, and caring physician, and I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone needing a urologist. His staff is excellent! They have always returned my telephone calls, or dealt with making appointments immediately when on the telephone. They also squeeze you in if the case is a priority due to other reasons. The new location they are now in for at least a couple of years permits a better work area for staff, and a better wait area for patients. In the previous location, you sometimes had to stand in the hallway, which made a totally stressful work area for the secretaries. This new location near the new hospital is great. Please remember that you may have to wait a little, sometimes, if Dr. Ibrahim has to inform and comfort a patient whose biopsy states that this person has cancer. If you have this unhappy diagnosis, at least you will know you have a compassionate, skilled, and capable physician
I'm very grateful that I meet Dr. Ibrahim I would say he knows what is doing very knowledgeable. I would recommend him to any one who needs his service. God bless him
