Ratings for Dr. Peter Dalziel
Got into an argument with him and left abruptly Doctor in revenge contacted MOT and had my driver's license suspended claiming I had a stroke It took about 3/4 weeks before I got another doctor to see me and contact MOT to reinstate my drivers licence I definitely do not recommend this idiot
They never fit you in they book appointments with out talking to you first they book appointments for 9:30 but don't answer the phone until after 9:30 this is by far the worst dr office out there even after Peter has left get knew stuff work longer days you became a doctor to help people no ?
This doctor refused to swab my almost 2 year old (21 months) for strep. He said that children under thr age of 2 dont get strep and all of his "doctor freinds" fo the same. My daughter had a positive swab a few months ago, presented the same way today (at a clinic in Ottawa where he is currently practising) he said that there was a misdiagnosis last time. I asked how could that be when the swab was positive. He said it wasent a active infection. Not only did he bad mouth his colleagues at this clinic he refused treatment for my daughter. He actually told me to bring her to cheo... What a fool!
Thankfully Peter has left the building. Without making my referral which he said he was doing, without filling out needed papers which he promised he was doing and in fact leaving me without anything but having to explain to new doctor entire history. On top of this missed Cancer by putting off tests I requested should be done, missed flesh eating disease, the list goes on. Was he friendly , yes. Was he knowledgeable, well if you have no other choices for a doctor in Barrie, he was ok. I feel really wrong done by. Oh top that off the office simply lost my entire visit, nothing on computer but appointment they billed for. My advice to patients of replacement doctor and he seems wonderful take notes and follow up on them even if secretary comes down on you for calling. At least you know and seems the way of being now days. Doctors are busy but lose an entire appointment worth of information. Sad.
by far the worst Dr. every time I have seen him ( since I was little) he is very unprofessional. tells me I'm over reacting gives me a website to go home and read about. if I wanted a google diagnosis I wouldn't have wasted my time. miss diagnoses a lot! the receptionist are also very rude. I do not recommend. time to call it quits old man
Expereinced the same very poor treatment from this man (not a doctor to me). Would not listen, totaly disregarded my serious symptoms, would not refer me to a specialist, uncaring cold, unknowledgeable, would snarl at me when he wanted me to leave, he would ask me the same questions over and over while playing on his computer. He would forget my name. I luckily found proper treatment and non ignorant medical staff in Toronto for a condition he should have been able to help me with easily that would have lead to my death. He BADmouths his patients and is very vexatious, with his trademark snarl. If you are having the same problems you must find other medical help, he will let you suffer and die, as long as he gets paid. I hope he leaves the medical field as soon as possible and doesnt just hang in there to pad his pockets for retirement, he has ruined enough lives. And the Medical staff, rude, unproffessional, and ignorant, though they must be happy to get their paychecks.
I took my six year old daughter to the clinic where Dr. Dalziel happened to be working. I suspected that she had a recurrence of strep throat and didn't want her to have to go through the pain she went through last time. She was laying on the patient bed at the clinic, playing on my phone when he came in and mumbled something. I realized he was asking my daughter to sit up and asked her to sit up. He turned, snarled, "when she feels like being cooperative, you can see me next week," and left the room after practically slamming the door. Neither me nor my daughter had said anything up to that point. He needs out of the profession if he's going to treat ANYONE that way, let alone a child.
I went for a physical recently and left being told to reseach on the internet, which i had already done. I did manage to get an ultra sound out of him. I found he was to focused on the computer (trying to navagate around it). I was explaining a recurring symptom that I have, and after about 1 minute of talking he turned to me and said "what was that, I didnt hear a word you said." At this point I was wishing I was Dr. Rapsons pactient. In the past I would go in to see him after having done some research and would leave feeling like his attitude was, what are you a doctor now, and now I leave being told to go home and do some research. which way is going to be? When you see him be persistant and push for anything extra that you want, i.e. mri, ct scan. Remember we pay for the system that is in place in Ontario. I do find the staff there to be very friendly except for 1 but there may be external forces at play there. Thanks for listening.
My whole family loves this doctor. He has been my wife's doctor for almost 18yrs. Luckily myself and 2 kids also get to see him. We don't live in Barrie and we are willing to drive the 1.5hrs to get to him. He is an intelligent, no nonsense kind of man. As a doctor he is not a drug pusher and he gets you involved in your own health care. An excellent example of this is I have been battling with my weight for many years. After exhausting the tests that could be done to see if it was something worng with my body, he suggested that I read The Omnivores Dilemma. This was exactly what I needed and the format I needed to change the way I look at food. 1 year later I am 50pds less and healthier than ever. We truly love the care that he provides all of us. Thank you Doc! Ps. Yes, if you are mean/rude/inconsiderate to the receptionist they will not be the cherriest person in the world ... no d'uh!
