Ratings for Dr. Jeffery L. Katzell
Dr. Katzell is an Excellent and caring doctor he has great staff and they don't keep you waiting in the lobby for a long time. I saw him a few times when I injured my neck and he took the time to explain my injuries to me and answer all my questions. I was in a lot of pain after my car accident from herniated disc in my neck and pain down my arm and loss of strength. The doctor told me I needed surgery and explained in detail my injury as well as treatment and recovery time. I've had such a great result from my Neck surgery. I feel blessed to have found such an excellent surgeon. I have recommended Dr. Katzell to all my friends and family.
Dr. Katzell repaired my rotator cuff a few months ago and my outcome has been wonderful. The 1/2 inch scars are nearly invisible & my shoulder feels as good as new. He is very approachable and easy to talk to. He gave me options to consider before surgery and if I choose to have it done, what my expectations should be. I chose surgery. He and his staff were attentive and accommodating toward my needs. Despite having a torn rotator cuff, I had a pleasant experience & heartily recommend Dr. Katzell.
I have been a patient of Dr. Katzell for the past 4 years. My first experience with him was after a car accident. I had multiple injuries elbow, shoulder and neck. He recommended the shoulder labrum surgery first. After a chance to heal he moved to the elbow for decompression surgery. The surgeries went very well with a short rehab. My most recent surgery was a cervical fusion of the 3-4 and 5-6 vertebrae. This surgery had the same results "Success". The office staff has always been professional and kind, even when I wasn't at my best due to the pain I was in.
This Dr. is very rude, unprofessional, doesn't care about his patients pain, thoughts or feelings. Very argumentive, forgetful from one visit to the next. Been in pain for 3 months and still waiting for him to comfort me. Very bad bedside manners, doesn't listen to the patient when the patient is trying to explain what the problem is. Also incredible that when a patient comes to him due to a car accident, he doesn't accept the patients medical insurance; he only takes what ever car insurance the patient has and other forms of payment, but not medical insurance. Is this the definition of a "professional" whose more worried about him getting paid than the wellfare of his patients!!!
my comments of dr. jeffery katzell are is that he is a very good doc . i wish he.d do my surgeries i need but can understand that he wont do to dr. katzman who has ****ed my life for the past three yrs. katzell told me things that katzman did not and was very concerned about my over all pain and discomfort and would do the surgeries if i had never gone to katzman but since i did he will not go in and do the surgeries because he doesnt want to screw up anything more in my spine from went katzman did. which is understandable but still sucks. bout jeff katzell was very attentive and very usefull and knowledgeable . i would go to him for sure if he would do my surgeries i need. but very clean office and very friendly and on time. i waited all of maybe 10mins. he showed compassion and up most concern for my injuries and told me exactly what needed to be done to fix the problem. he even told me that even with surgery i would still be in lil pain for the rest of my life due to scott katzman
Dr. Katzell has the worst bedside manner ever. There was even a visit where he stood at the door of the exam room and did not even acknowledge me. He just talked to his assit. who stood next to me, and told her what to do and what to tell me. This all at the same time as he spoke into his little voice recorder to record all his notes. Awful office no one was friendly
