Dr. Thiele wanted to perform a risky operation and refused to prescribe a medication with a high rate of success that I had researched. Instead, he insisted on prescribing a medication that he had formulated, even when my condition did not improve on the medication. He also kept me on steroid treatments for longer than recommended. I paid out of pocket to get a second opinion and the new doctor said that I should definitely not have the surgery that Dr. Thiele suggested. My new doctor prescribed the medication that Dr. Thiele would not and my condition improved. I am thankful that I did not suffer the horrible side effects of risky surgery. Definitely seek a second opinion when things do not seem right.
