Ratings for Dr. Omid Mostachfi
On Jan 22, 2018, I had a parotidectomy. Dr. Mostachfi explained the surgery and risks extremely well beforehand. The surgery went better than anticipated. My incision is a very thin line. The bottom half of my ear lobe and cheek are numb, and my bottom lip is lopsided. Dr. Mostachfi feels these symptoms should go away within 9 months. So far, no evidence of Frey’s Syndrome. All in all, I am very pleased with the care I received from Dr. Mostachfi. Janice Marr
I like him. I've a possible Acoustic Neuroma, and years ago I had Meniere's Disease which caused considerable damage to the ear. He was very professional, through and competent. I'm to have an MRI, MRA and MRV. I'll know more then. I feel I'm in very good hands.
Dr. Mostachfi performed an unnecessary surgical procedure on my ear that did not fix my chronic tinnitis and hearing loss. The surgery has left me with unnecessary side effects and I feel more harm was done than good. I did not feel that this doctor's knowledge was not up to par and I deeply regret having trusted him.
Helpful and knowledgeable, he was patient with my young son when he came to get his ear tubes inserted. Explained everything in depth to me and my son - in terms that a child could understand. Dr Mostachfi was very calm and comforting throughout our visits, up to and including the procedure day.
A few years ago I had a chronic ear infection that several doctors could not help me with. Dr. Mostachfi took a look, and even though he couldn't completely diagnose the infection he had a hunch and went with a solution that actually ended up working amazingly. I had several follow-up appointments and he was always very accommodating to my busy schedule.
