Ratings for Dr. John Allen
I saw this dr in the ER this past weekend when my back gave out and couldn’t walk at all and I was in excruciating pain. I’m not even 30 so that is definitely not normal. He told me to go home & work, resting had never helped anyone with back pain. I told him that I couldn’t even walk, never mind work. He just repeated what he had told me a couple times before already that he had had the same thing happen to him and all you could do for it was work. Massage might help he said. We left and I called a massage therapist the next morning, I told her about my experience and that he said I should get a massage, she said it would get way worse from a massage. He also delivered my first born 11 years ago, my newborn got an infection and needed an IV, it took him about 15 minutes to get it in. During which time he was very angry at our newborn, had both my husband and me crying, and he kept on mentioning that he needed to get home because his family was waiting for him. This dr does not deserve to have a doctors license at all. He is incredibly rude, doesn’t answer any of your questions, and pretty much laughs in your face. Doesn’t matter who I tell about my experience, they all tell me what a heartless person he is. I don’t ever want to see him again.
We had Dr Allen in urgent care when we came there with our son who had been in a major accident the week before. He totally blew off my sons pain, he didn't properly access a young child. Wouldn't do xrays or any other tests, didn't even listen to what we had to say. He went on a power trip saying he was the doctor he knew better. So we left the urgent care with a little boy still crying about his neck. Will never see this doctor again if I can help it. I will rather drive to Winnipeg for ER care before i will subject myself or my Kids to his rudeness and lack of care.
Really bad doctor, rude, pill pusher, does not care about you're questions, has huge power trip issues, won't address the issue at hand, has no knowledge of how physcologically handle a patient. He is not a healer, however, he is, excellent at making you sicker, then when you came in. I highly recommend everyone to stay away from him. He is a scary menace.
Was seen by him in the ER because I had hit my head and was brought in on an ambulance unconscious. No tests were done and when asked if a CT scan was schedule he asked me why he would waste resources like that. I ended up going to the hospital in winnipeg where they checked for bleeding in the brain and ended up being I had a serious concussion. The nurses at the winnipeg hospital were shocked when they looked at my file and saw he scheduled no tests in winkler when I was admitted. Get rid of this fruit cake!
I was told not to take Toradol by a doctor at the Grace Hostpital, in Winnipeg, after experiencing symptoms of an allergic reaction a few hours after them giving it to me. Later when being treated by Dr. Allan, I told him about this but he said that I was confused and that it was Tramadol - not Toradol that I was told not to take. I wasn't confused, it was Toradol that I had been told not to take again. Luckily I didn't have a reaction but I would not recommend anyone be treated by Dr. Allan. So many bad reviews... get rid of this clown.
The rudest most insensitive Dr ever. Should never be allowed to treat patients the way he does. Saw him in ER after miscarriage and he refused me a blood test for no reason other than to say it was pointless. I know countless number of ppl that would be ecstatic if ever he lost his medical licence
