Ratings for Dr. Richard Ryter
This doctor cared for a family member. When the person got ill he had them admitted to a hospital and turned their care completely over to house doctors with no evidence of further involvement on his part in the case. My view--when my loved one needed his great expertise the most, there was no evidence he was involved. Perhaps this is more a reflection on the hospital?
Been a patient of his for years and have always respected his recommendations. He is compassionate, caring, and easy to talk to and a good diagnostician. However, his office is very difficult to reach by phone. It seems they don't want to answer the phone before 9am even though they open at 8am. After 4, all you get is a busy signal. Their automated answering system is frustrating as well. Would like to hear a real voice for once.
