Ratings for Dr. Mehdi K. Arab
Nice doctors but the staff is horrible- the worst. They will put you on hold to die, i've even had one of them pretend to lose the call when i asked to speak with office manager. Girl in charge of referrals and authorizations doesn't do her job and is extremely rude. Called several times about a referral my son needs and after calling EHS i'm told the information they need to authorize was not sent in by Dr.s office. Left messages asking for a doctor to call me back but no one ever does. Trying to get help for your child through the office staff is a sad joke. Lazy rude and dont seem to give a rip.
Missed an acute bowel obstruction in the most obvious of cases and sent patient home 3 times diagnosing him with the flu. Absolute terrible mistake that could have resulted in patient demise but luckily, there was a competent surgeon who realized the situation was an acute bowel and decided to operate.
His staff is rude and not helpful to communicate with parents or up-dateing the information to the doctors. They did not send reminder e-mail or phone call about the schdueled appointment or the blood tests or any other reports. If you call them any time durring whole working time they will always ask you for hold and then you will be on hold for at least ten minutes. But he is a good Dr.
Dr Arab's practice has been following my 3 children for the las 21 years. My kids are now in college and still want to stay with him.. he is a caring doctor and much loved by my children.. he has seen us through many illnesses and alwys been positive and accurate with his diagnosis.
Horrible staff! Over an hour wait with an appointment. Staff has poor communication, rude, and poor record keeping. Dr. Arab does not call back with complaints regarding staff. Better off going with anyone other office other than this one. He works well with kids and is nice in person but does not deals with his practice very poorly when it comes to staff and paperwork. I left the practice along with five other friends because everyone was so fed up with the office staff.
this is a good doctor but tracking him down is like a wild goose chase. the practice is run with poor communication and even locating which office he is at is a chore in itself. and once you get there, be sure you have something to occupy you for a couple hours
I would recommend this doctor to anyone. He keeps it simple and does a good assessment of whether a child really needs medicine and how much if at all he needs it. He keeps it simple, answers all questions patiently and when I talk to him I just get a feeling that he genuinely cares for the child.
