Ratings for Dr. Nimet Jinnah
she is a terrible dentist. She is always overcharging insurance companies and patients. Charging new patient fees when they patients are not new patients. Charging emergency examinations when they are coming back to fix something she did wrong. She is up against the dental association and hopefully will loose her licence. I have never heard of a business that has such a high turnover in staff. I am pretty sure it cant be only the staff. If you go to her make sure you are reading the statements that are being sent to the insurance companies as well as your statement and see what she is charging you. The units of scaling are unbelievable. People beware she is a scammer and is loosing her business fast. There has to be a reason that a very once successful dental office and had a waiting list is now very dead and barely has patients. I would highly recommend going to a different dental office in Fort Saskatchewan there are many good dentist out there. That guarantee there work and not do shady work to begin with.
Dr Jinnah is very friendly and personable. Her office has always been on time and professional. My biggest issue is with costs/billing. She charges quite a bit more than what is listed on the Alberta Dental Fee structure. As well, I feel that at times, we've been billed for more scaling than the time that has actually been done. I very much feel like I'm being over billed. I'm going to start shopping around for other Dentists as we just can afford the extra costs.
Horrible Dentist. Crappy work. Charges to fix her own mistakes. In fact, after over $2500 of work consisting of 9 repairs on her own poor quality work on a filling, I firmly believe she does this on purpose to get the repeat billing work. Basically a con artist. Did such a poor job on my daughters root canal that 3 years later she needed facial and bone grafting surgery to repair the damage. Unfortunately, it took until this point before the covering insurance adjuster from the causal accident permitted us to see a different dentist for the incident or we would have walked 3 years earlier. WARNING this doctor should not be practicing medicine of any kind.
