I was referred to Dr. Halle by my employer for a medical assessment. He does contracting and consulting work for medical firms such as Sentinelle and others...This in itself tells you something since these assessments are done outside of the Canadian health care system and are very lucrative for doctors. they get a consulting fee in the hundreds of dollars for a quick chat with patients. Anyways, he was very uncaring, impatient and curt with me. He was unwilling to get to the root cause of my condition. But the big thing is he violated my medical confidentiality and divulged everything I told him VERBATIM to my employer even when I told him not to, and he assured me that he wouldn't. What a two-faced idiot. Stay away from this money hungry swine.
Very arrogant and unhelpful doctor. Does not bother answering questions. Gives unclear and imprecise answers, at times false. When asked further (I have medical knowledge), shrugs it off. Quite uncaring. Typical of old attitude that patients know nothing and should not ask questions. Does not get factual context, and therefore provides inadequate pronostics. Does not read MRIs unless you point out some issues, and then dismisses the issues raised without exploring further. Doctor to avoid, unfortunately, as this is a region that has so few...
The first question when I entered into his office was which type of insurance do I have instead asking me which type of problem do I have and what do I feel. Asking me for profession of my husband, and I told him that he is dirver. I did not tell him that my husband has medical specialty in physical medicine and rehabilitation from Europe and he works in Canada as driver. Should reality change his attitude and judgment? He should treat everybody same on the professional and responsive level. He deserves to be one driver. Terrible doctor! Seems carless doctor. Gave wrong diagnoses without reading of MRI Report from Montfort hospital.
