During annual physical exam I requested my ferritin levels be tested. Dr. Rega refused. I went to a Natural pathic doctor and requested this test. The test showed I have hemochromatosis. The excess iron my body is storing can lead to life threatening conditions such as cancer, heart issues and cirrhosis of the liver. It is the most common genetic disease in caucasians. Yet, Dr. Rega refused to test for it when I requested.

This doctor is a "take two Aspirin and call me the next day" type of doctor. He considers Extra Strength Excedrin too much drug to take. If you have any aches and/or pains, I would go elsewhere!
