Please if I can help even one person by writing this then please stay far away from Dr Grant and Scarborough General Hospital! He ruined my life!! I had a L4-S1 fusion and from the moment I woke up it was a nightmare. I developed a severe infection which I did attempt to address with Dr. Grant several times but he dismissed me saying there was nothing wrong with me. It wasn't until almost a year later when the infection had taken over my body and was litterly shooting out my staple holes that he did anything. By that time I had to go on months of 24/7 iv antibiotics at home, home nursing and was involved with a infectious diseases Dr. To this day I live with the outcome of this neglect. I am looking at my 5th surgery just to fix what my 1st one did. Thank GOD I now have actual proper surgeons who know what they are doing. The ONLY place to have bacel surgery is Toronto Western Hospital or any of it's affiliates. I pray all who read this listen.

had surgery with dr grant . surgery get ok not 100% but at my age I wouldn't think he could cure me. the only thing this doctor is very loud and annoying. he was like yelling out side the OR room .... I didn't know if he was joking with the nurses or if that how he really talks. I would think when you work inside an OR you would be professional

I had a herniated disc,Dr Grant offered the least invasive option. He thoroughly explained what the surgery would involve and what to expect after surgery. It's now been three months and I am pain free.

Had my first consultation today and must say very few clinics in my lengthy experience operate this way. Dr. Grant was on time as scheduled, very patient oriented and knowledgeable. A friendly personality almost thought I was visiting a buddy. after the consult I confidently signed up for surgery and all paperwork was handled by Ingrid who I found to be another sweet character. Im ready

I am forever indebted to Dr. Grant for giving me my quality of life back. I had spent almost two years in and out of bed recovering from a herniated disc. I then took another fall and this produced THE most pain I have ever dealt with. After trying acupuncture, steroid epidurals, Having MRI ' s done, appointments with my family doctor and a visit to emergency I felt helpless getting someone to understand the agony I was in. I could not stand, sit, lie on my back or right side, and I could barely walk. I saw Dr Grant and he offered surgery! Finally some help. Surgery was done swiftly and the following day I was up and about. This doctor will never understand just how grateful I am to him. He helped me when no one else cared to. His receptionist Ingrid gets my thanks also for doing her part. Forever grateful Sheila
