Ratings for Dr. Janet Green
Dr Green was my GP for several years. I waited an average of 45 minutes to an hour to be seen virtually every appointment. The front desk staff at Courtenay Medical were rude and dismissive. I went to have a breast lump diagnosed, and was sent for a mammogram. Was called by her office staff and advised that the mammogram was 'normal' and that no followup was needed. The lump was still there, so I pursued an appointment with another doctor for evaluation. A biopsy several weeks later revealed that I had breast cancer. I now have a different gp, and am much more confident that I am receiving proper care.
Dr Green has been my doctor for 33 years. She is always professional, and up to date in her field. On two occasions she has literally saved my life. I would not be here today without her. Moreover, she has so many patients, but she still manages to call you to keep you informed. She always refers you if needed and is caring and compassionate. She is one in million. I am very fortunate to have had her as my physician. The office staff are not a reflection of her proffesional ability. Thank you, Dr Green for treating my family and I with exceptional care.
I was referred to Dr.Green for both of my pregnancies. She is absolutely wonderful. She is very calm and kind(which is what you need especially with a first pregnancy) I can only hope she is still delivering babies, if I decide to have a third.
I consider myself lucky to have Janet Green as my doctor. She is knowledgeable, thorough, and kind. I trust her and can rely on her. I hope she continues to be my doctor. I respect her and admire her. Yes, sometimes, you have to wait but I never feel rushed when I get in to see her.
-MADE ME WAIT OVER AN HOUR -FRONT DESK VERY RUDE -JANET WANTS "FOLLOW UP" AFTER ISSUE DEALT WITH IN THE EMERGENCY - I KNOW FOR A FACT THAT THIS IS SCAMMING THE SYSTEM ACCORDING TO MY NURSE FRIEND. -SHE DOES SEEM HELPFUL EVEN THOUGH I KNOW SHE CAN BE WRONG SOMETIMES
Dr. Green has been my doctor for over 30 years. She tries her best to be on Chedjou but because of the nature of her business family practice and babies some appointments take longer than others and she does get off track. When you do get in to see her she will spend as long as necessary to attend your problem. She doesn't suffer fools gladly and expects her advice to be followed. She has a wealth of experience and keeps up to date with developments in her field. I heartily recommend her.
