Ratings for Dr. John Knox
If I could rate 0 stars I would. Terrible service. John Knox doesn't know much, you have to show up with a list of symptoms so he can google what's wrong with you. And his assistant Penny is absolutly horrible. They can't do anything on time. I had papers that needed to be signed by him, so I gave them to Penny. These papers had to be signed by a certain date. AFTER A MONTH AND A HALF, Penny contacted me saying that he could not sign the papers because I needed to get bloodwork done first. She didn't even give me a req for bloodwork. She simply gave my my paperwork I asked to be signed back and walked away. If you're considering a family doctor is Espanola, try to get a doctor that Penny does not assist!
John is a very competent doctor who is very methodical and professional with me. You must be prepared to know your symptoms rather than "I don't feel well". You never feel rushed. His staff is excellent and competent. He is willing to refer to a specialist if he feels it is necessary.
I went to see him once for a persistent cough and he asked me "What do you think we should do?" - if I knew I wouldn't be there. I can't even begin to tell you how he treated my mother. Glad to hear that other patients have had positive experiences with him though.
Extremly compationate but when you go to him you must have your problems written down so that you can give him symtoms correctly as many people think it the doctors job to guess why their visiting him and while he's a good guesser it would speed things up if they had their problems listed and ready for him
