Ratings for Dr. Cameron Shaw
I have nothing negative to say about Dr Shaw, but his Admin Business Manager was very rude, accused me of lying and brought me to tears. I went to see the doc, he was very knowledgeable, yet he was not sure why my ear hurt or why I was so dizzy. I called the very next day to let the office know I thought my visit was strange and not really worth anyone's time or money and I was immediately ridiculed by his office manager.(She actually took 3 days to call me back) I have now been charged $225, after insurance, for nothing. I ended up back at my primary doc and my diagnosis is neck strain...Dr. Shaw treated me for possible vertigo and referred me to a "real ENT" as he didn't even have the tools to look in my throat. He used a hand mirror. Again, he was nice and pleasant, but his manager leaves much to be desired.
Difficulty with getting scheduled initially. Confirmed via phone when making the initial appointment that they had received the previous tests. When we arrived no tests to be found. Luckily we brought our own copies. There was no possession of responsibility to get further tests scheduled. We had to call twice to remind them that the tests were requested by the doctor. After multiple tries to get the fax we were told "we tried twice and did not get an error message" Ended up having to get it faxed to us so we could deliver it. On the upside Dr. Shaw seemed medically knowledgeable and competent when we saw him.
