Ratings for Dr. Robert Russell
Dr. Russell and staff were excellent. The first appointment at the Intake Clinic educated me as to the process and allayed my fears. They were there for me and ensured that I understand every step of the way. Doctor Russell was amazing. He talked to my husband and I in a kind and caring manner ensuring that we understood every step of the way. He always asked if we had questions. He was very patient and understanding. I had suffered for over two years with undiagnosed chronic pain and it was not until I had hip x-rays done that it discovered my hips were shot. He and the Intake Staff did everything possible to expedite my operation once it was realized the situation I was in. I owe him so much. He literally gave me my life back and I will be forever grateful. Having two hips done within nine weeks really tests one's endurance but I made it through. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
He is an amazing surgeon to say the least! Up front and to the point. He just did surgery on my husband's back removing a disc bigger than a golf ball. My husband couldn't walk when I took him to emergency on Monday. On Thursday he was up and walking after surgery on Wednesday morning. In our eyes he is nothing short of a miracle. Thank you so much Dr Russell. Regards Melissa and Fred White
This physician is rude and arrogant. He has absolutely no bedside manner, no concern for his patients. He delayed my surgery for months, saying I didn't need it. Then when he finally did, he didn't do it successfully. I fully understand that with knee surgery, it's quite possible to not achieve success. However, my issue is that he refused to believe this. He ignored my GP and PT and refused to believe my knee wasn't improving. It took him over a year to admit he needed to do it the second time. Now I have too much damage to repair due to the years of using my knee while it was injured. I wish I never met him
Went to emerge because of ongoing leg pain that had been dismissed by many doctors. The emerge doctor consulted with Dr. Russel who immediately booked me in ASAP, after having the MRI it revealed problems with discs which were impinging on nerve roots. He gave me the option of surgery and was pretty confident that it could be fixed but like any surgery complications could arise and things could be worse. I opted to take his advice and waited almost four months while doing physio therapy and whatever I could take in medications besides narcotics, this helped me cope a little but I was far from being normal. I decided after this that I would opt for surgery, after contacting Dr. Russells office an appointment was made and he went through the complications with me again, today as I speak I am 5 days post op and I can honestly say I have little to no pain compared to before, the incision and staples are only what I feel right now. Some people may think he is rude but he is to the point and wants to get on to the next patient. I am so thankful for Dr. Russel and his team and I hope to get even better.
well lets see!!!!! VERY RUDE and was not a nice visit. I got acl tear been suffering in knee for 5 months now and he don't see a need for surgery meanwhile my therapist thinks I will need it because for 5 months im not getting any better . and she wants me to get second opinion as do myself, dr.russell thinks im not getting better due to my weight(try being on 2 steroids 4 times a day for 5 months and not be able to walk or do ANYTHING ))see how you would blow up and put on weight . that was a snotty remark to think let alone put in the doctors report . I will never go to him ever again I WILL REQUEST SOMEONE ELSE.. NOT A HAPPY PATIENT RIGHT NOW
He has been my surgeon for approx 12 years and I could not ask for better!! Very knowledgeable and caring. Has always done what is in my best interest. I've had multiple knee surgeries and he has always done a great job. 3 years ago I had bilateral knee replacements and I consider myself to be his star patient as I am doing so well :) He is very straight forward and to the point. I can see why some people would not appreciate his bedside manner but I go to him because he's excellent
