Ratings for Dr. Peter Incze
I can't say enough good things about Dr. Incze. I had a stone blocking my one kidney. He saw me quickly, was patient and helpful explaining the procedures I needed and got them done relatively soon after first seeing him. I had my stone removed last week and just had my stent removed today and already feel MUCH better. This doctor is a great and his staff is as well. You can trust this one.
I was diagnosed with bladder cancer over a year ago. I was devastated but it was caught early, in large part due to my own persistence in trying to find out why there was blood in my urine. My family doctor told me it was probably a bladder infection but I knew there was something else, so I insisted on further testing. After an ultrasound revealed the tumours, I was immediately referred to Dr. Incze. When we first met at his office, he drew a diagram for me showing me what the tumours looked like and how confident he was, that the tumours were operable based on the ultrasound images. From the beginning he believed that the prognosis in my case, would be good. I would assume he would base this on his vast experience as a Urologist so I was very comforted. At the hospital, where he performed my first cystoscopy, he actually showed me the tumours on the screen. They were exactly the shape and size in his drawing and I knew immediately that I was in the best hands, because in that moment, I knew Dr. Incze knew exactly what he was doing. He operated on me shortly afterward, removing the tumours and came by to see me in recovery before he left the hospital. He reassured me that he felt strongly that the tumours had been caught early and had not had a chance to invade the lining of the bladder. The hardest part was waiting for the biopsy results, which did indicate there was cancer, but that it was non-aggressive and had not invaded the rest of my bladder. I have been seeing him since, for regularly scheduled follow up at the hospital where he performs a cysto to check for any recurrence, and thankfully so far, there hasn't been any. Dr. Incze, from the outset, shared his knowledge and expertise, not only in terms of necessary procedures, but in answering all my questions with confidence, care and concern. I continue to see him and will for years to come. I am so grateful that he was there for me, reassuring me and helping me navigate this journey. My experience with him has been amazing and I cannot recommend him highly enough. I trust him completely! I am also grateful for my own persistence with my family doctor when I knew there was something wrong, and that I listened to my own body when it was telling me something. I will be walking in the BCC annual walk for Bladder Cancer to show my gratitude and when the commercials come on for "if you see red, see your doctor", I am proud of myself that I didn't ignore it and just hope it would go away. Make sure you don't ignore symptoms thinking they will just go away. My bleeding lasted only a day or two. Thanks Dr. Incze for all you have done, and continue to do for me. I will be forever grateful.
I was referred to Dr. Incze to treat large kidney stone. He was efficient, professional and very capable. The doctor made himself available to me after hours and made every effort to treat me as promptly as the hospital facilities would allow. He provided immediate relief after insertion of the stent and completed the work required after two more procedures. Expulsion of the stone fragments was painless because of his diligence in breaking up the stone. He is someone I recommend without hesitation. He's a pro who is dedicated and tireless.
I had to put one star but if I could, I would rate him with Negative stars. Terrible is an understatement. If you care about your life or a loved one, please DO NOT GO to this doctor. I'm surprised that he hasn't been sued for medical negligence given how he has treated the patients who have posted on this board. My father had prostrate and bladder cancer, admitted to emergency for constant bleeding and blockage thru his urine., which has been an ongoing issue for over 6 months. He kept passing it off. This doctor never saw him even though he has been his attending urologist for a number of years and just passed him off to another doctor who has also not seen him since he's been admitted. I hope these posts help to spare someone else from going through such a traumatic ordeal.
This doctor I would never recommend to anyone. He was unable to help my father and completely dismissed his problem and misdiagnosed him for a few years. My father passed away from bladder cancer and I truly believe if Dr. Incze had taken his situation more seriously my father would still be with us. Rushed us out of his office when I had many questions left unawswered. Ended up seeing a different doctor in Hamilton and was much happier although it was already too late for my father. Please do your research and I pray this doctor has improved his bed side manner.
I have been suffering kidney pain for a year now and no doctor can figure out what was causing the pain and what was wrong. Dr. Incze sent me for a few tests that couldn't detect the problem but he never gave up! Finally he sent me for a less common more specific test that revealed the issue and he gave me the proper diagnoses! I can now finally get the treatment I need and will soon live hopefully pain free!
Got referred by my family physician for erectile dysfunction. I'm in my 20s. I had concerns about physical damage to veins, low libido, and maintaining erections. After dismissing my concerns, he said I should use a "ring" and wrote me a prescription for Cialis. That was it... I am still concerned for my health, and have received no answers as to why I'm experiencing these problems.
I recently saw Dr. Inzce for ED concerns (referred by my GP). I am very young to be having such troubles (under 30). He offered very little information as to what I could do to improve my situation (other than taking viagara), and didn't offer an explanation as to why I might be experiencing this (apart from a very cursory explanation of the hydraulics involved in erections, which most elementary school students could describe to you). He just wrote me a prescription for pills and sent me on my way. I had to wait over an hour in his waiting room just to feel humiliated and brushed off, with no helpful information given to me at all. What a waste.
Came to emergency with 2 kidney stones and was immediately sent to Dr Incze who put in a stent. The stent was a tremendous relief and worked great until he could remove the stones. He and his staff scheduled me in and the stones were removed at his next operation date - which was soon. It was a fast and professional experience. Thank you to Dr Incze and staff.
