Ratings for Dr. Steven A. Wool
Dr. Wool has been my daughter's physician since she was 18, and my physician for the past 20 years. He switched over to a boutique practice a few years ago in order to devote more time to each patient. He is by far the best, most knowledgable, most caring physician I have ever come across. Other boutique doctors in Tucson charge far more per year than Dr. Wool; once I was told he was going boutique, I checked around--there are some doctors who charge $6,000/year here in Tucson. I'll go to him until I'm no longer around.
Dr. Wool is an outstanding dr. Since he has changed his practice to "botique medicine" a visit with him will last almost as long as you want it to - within reason. There are no interruptions, phone calls and he devotes himself totally to you, your problems and offers many suggestions other than just routine tests, drugs.I think he is a medical jewel and a fine person who would be hard to match among his medical peers who are always rushed.
outstanding care and worth every penny. people who have a hard time paying for the 1,500 will have a hard time adjusting to others doctors. There is no one else who cares more for his patients. he may be late, but now that he is cutting down his practice he can attend to his patients even better.
We have been his patients since 1993 he was such a great doctor! He really cared and was very thorough. My whole family started seeing him over 5 years ago. However in the past 4 yrs there has been a sharp decline in his service. He defers his patients to his NP he dosen't follow up. He is ALWAYS at least an hour late! His office staff is unprofessional. Would never see him again. With his new "Boutique" medicine costing an extra $1500 is completely ridiculous.
