There is a lot that Cenegenics, the type of care this doctor offers, that is very common sense - eat well, excersise, etc that no one needs to pay for. The memory tests are some bells and whistles that are added on to justify the cost. There is a lot of very negative stuff in the press about Cenegenics (from very reputable news outfits), and there are many good points they make. Dr Bartnof pushes some very expensive tests that have been proven to be more harmful in some cases than good (see NYTimes article last year about overuse of heart scans and the extremely high dosage of radiation involved). I had to do reading on this on my own and decline the test. I could go on, but the gist is that for the extremely high fee, there are things here that feel like they are added to justify the cost that are not needed.
