Ratings for Dr. Joseph Jellicorse
Unfortunately he lacks skill in getting acurate diagnosis and prescribed medicene which ignored life threatening allergies. My loved one had to go to the Emergency Room twice because of him, thankfully the Pharmacist intercepted numerous medicenes that were on the allergy list, and after getting our medical rrecord, we found no listing of the most dangerous medications that caused the life threatening reactions. A friendly personality does not always mean the best healthcare.
Dr. Jellicorse is thorough and friendly. Most of his staff seem to be professional and knowledgeable also but the receptionist leaves a very bad impression of the practice. She is very loud and belligerent when you try to explain something to her all in front of the other patients who are waiting. It is also difficult to get an appointment when you are sick and you are passed off to the nurse practitioner being told that no appointments are available for a couple of months and then while you are in the office waiting to be seen by the nurse, you hear her on the phone with someone wanting to see Dr. Jellicorse and she will tell them to be there later that day or the next day.
"Dr J.", as he is called, is a great doctor. I have been going to him for several years. He has a good bedside manner and he really seems concerned. He is always wrapped up, but always takes time with you. You have to wait a little longer on him because of this, but that is fine with me. I am very pleased with him and his diagnoses.
