Ratings for Dr. William Morse
Dr Morse gives the appearance of listening at times, but primarily he is glued to his computer screen. He is not open to alternatives, even though the web describes him as an "alternative medicine" doctor. If he does not agree with your choice of what to do in a particular situation, he will lecture you for 10 minutes on why he is correct and you are wrong. He made mistakes in medical information as well. He has some truly un-helpful office policies and the staff merely back those up and don't help either. Meh.
Dr. Morse has been my physician for almost 4 years. I have always been satisfied with my appointments with him--he takes time to listen, has all of my records in front of him, and he is extremely well-informed about medical research and developments. His focus is wellness, as he makes clear, so rather than just treating symptoms, he works toward addressing the causes. As part of his focus on wellness, he does not first decide what drug to prescribe (he does not have drug reps in his suite and there are not the drug samples so ubiquitous in other doctor'soffices). From the beginning of my patient-doctor association with him, it's been clear that rather than him taking the role of all-knowing-doctor, we are in partnership to address my health issues--an attitude which is, unfortunately, somewhat unique. Further, I have always found his assistants to be responsive.
Nice man, but doesn't fully listen. Jumps to conclusions and doesn't allow you to clarify symptoms, concerns, etc. Office staff is nice, but incompetent. Nurses wouldn't/couldn't answer basic questions and they sent the wrong patient's file when I switched physicians.
