Ratings for Dr. Barbara Kelleher
Dr.Kelleher has been my family doctor for years, she has always been a great doctor and a caring, honest person. The blond receptionist however has always been rude to me, would brush me off when I absolutely needed to see the doctor. She acts as if I'm inconveniencing her by phoning and asking if there are any appointments available this week. I've had times when she would tell me there are no openings until 2 weeks from now and she would contact me if anything opens up. I would then have my cousin call, the receptionist didn't know we're related, and she would get in that day or the next. It's too bad Dr. Keleher is leaving family practice, finding a doctor as good as her will be almost impossible, I would much prefer to see the blond receptionist in an unemployment line.
I made an appointment for a consult. When I got there she told me she was actually doing the procedure and I did not come prepared. I was advised then that I required compression stockings and comfortable shoes to walk after which I did not bring. She injected several veins and advised that she would treat the one larger one on the next visit. I bought their stockings and followed their instructions as directed following the procedure and found no results. When I contacted the clinic to express my concern I spoke to Sharla who was extremely rude and gave me the impression that I was not welcome to come back. Dr. Kelleher would also not speak to me and provide any further direction. I wasted my time and money here and would never return to this clinic.
Dr. Kelleher has been my doctor for many years. I was disappointed that she does not have hospital privileges - so turns over in hospital patient care to whomever is on call. Her receptionist is often rude and dismissive. She does follow through with asking specialists for advice. Sometimes I feel she does not know it herself, as often if I suggest things, she then recommends that as the course of treatment. She is honest, and personable. I haven't decided whether to stay with her, or switch doctors.
Dr. Kelleher has been my doctor for about 15 years now. I would never want to go to another doctor if I didn't have to. She is thorough and I always feel I am getting the best possible care. It sometimes takes a bit of time to get an appointment but I always feel that the staff do all they can to fit me in if need be.
Dr.Kelleher has been my doctor for 19 years and she is fantastic. She has seen me through 4 pregnancies and I trust her completely with the care of my children, two of which have auto immune diseases. She always takes the time to really listen to your problems and is never dismissive like so many other doctors I have been to. I seldom have to wait for my appointment and her staff has been great about getting my children in for appointments in short notice. She is very knowledgeable but certainly will refer you to a specialist if it in necessary. In 19 years I do not have one single complaint about her or her staff. She is a real gem of a doctor and I am very thankful to have someone I trust taking care of me and my family.
I have been going to Dr. Kelleher for more than 10 years now and she is a great doctor. She listens to what you are saying to her and is very knowledgable. She is not a pill pusher but sincerely tries to find the best possible course of treatment for whatever may ail you. Ihave found some doctors in the past would rather just hand you a prescription and send you out the door. She never disregards any complaints and you feel like she sincerely is there to help. I never feel rushed to get out of her office and she is always punctual. I highly recommend her as a doctor.
