Ratings for Dr. Jerry T. Hart
So I wasn't going to comment but after reading different reviews, I must share my opinion. First, of all, all doctors work under a practice. They learn daily, they reflect on experiences, they cannot predict how things will turn out or how one's body will react to a certain procedure. Dr. Hart has worked with over thousands of expecting mothers and he continues to work with them. He has been my doctor with my first child and I pray he will be able to with my second. I'm not writing to say he is the one you should choose or that he is the best. I'm writing because as a patient seeking a physician it is your responsibility to search and find which doctor is the best. You have the right at any time to change doctors. When I chose Dr. Hart, it wasn't for the fact that I heard such good things or the fact that he has delivered countless little ones and help bring light to numerous miracles or the fact that he delivered me (along with my two brothers) and my husband... I chose him because I prayed and God gave me peace (which is hard to come by when it comes to health).. I'm not trying to preach and say you need to pray and let's say you don't.. But if you're confident in your doctor that is a form of peace.. If you are not confident, then maybe that's Gods way of telling you to search another doctor. Yes, I have seen Dr, Hart be in a rush and only give 5 minutes to discuss things, but you have to consider that this is due to the amount of patients he does have and this should truly shed light to his reputation. And yes, I have been in a conversation with him where he brushed a concern off and yes I was taken back.. But then it is your responsibility to decide if you need to get a second opinion, switch doctors, or do your own research. If you don't, you can't blame you doctor if you choose to listen to him. He basis his advice on what he has learned through his practice, you don't have to heed to it. I had a c- section, and it was planned, I was concerned, I wanted to have my child naturally. But he gave me his reasons why he thought it was most appropriate and I chose to stick with his plan. I could have switched doctors, but I trusted. It turned out to be a good thing, because my son was breached and they would have done one any ways.. Not to mention the nurses can tell who has done the surgery simply based on the incision and the stitches (which I was told by every nurse that he was the best they had). But you have to remember no patient is the same. Just because I have a success story doesn't mean everyone will. You have to search in your heart who you have peace/good gut feeling with.. You can't rely on man's opinion.. That would be foolish. And you gave to remember every doctor has success stories, but the sad thing is they have failures too and in most cases those sad stories were ultimately in God's hands to begin with, because He is the author of our lives.. Not our Doctors.. Thanks for reading my opinion...M.S.
Dr. Hart was on call when I was induced to have my first son. He does not listen to your wishes and is in a hurry to deliver babies to get home. He broke my water when I was barely dilated and told me that if I wasn't ready to deliver that evening we would do a c-section, which I was completely against. Dr. Hart came back and I refused the c-section. He then threatened to kick me out of the hospital and told me to go to Madisonville! Thankfully my nurse told me he could not do that and informed me that he does c-sections all the time to be able to go home! My friends sitting outside in the hall heard him complaining to the nurses about how I didn't want to listen and kept calling my mother in law (who is an OB in Florida) and how he wasn't going to put up with me! He is completely unprofessional and RUDE! I had a horrible birth experience and was crying uncontrollably! Thankfully my regular dr came in to replace him and was much kinder. I did end up having a c-section due to him breaking my water so early! Would definitely not recommend this doctor and can not believe he is still practicing!
It is hard to believe that Dobay has the HIGHEST RATING..since he is no longer there..for obvious reasons! Dr. Hart is the most wonderful doctor that I have ever had the pleasure of getting to know! He ALWAYS takes extra time even though he has a busy schedule and listens..intently..to every issue that I have. I have been going to him off and on for 25 years and I have NO COMPLAINTS! I can discuss anything with him and feel comfortable and he always knows WHAT'S RIGHT FOR ME! He has even worked me in before when he knew it was a great necessity for me to see him. I would never think of changing doctors. Some people cannot be pleased..no matter how good the service is. I don't even have insurance..but I DON'T COMPLAIN..because I get my money's worth! HE IS THE BEST!
Dr. Hart has been the worst doctor I have ever seen! He refused to listen to me on multiple visits about pain I was having (during intercourse). Finally my husband came with me to one of my visits to confront him about why he was refusing to treat me and he walked out of the exam room and shut the door as my husband was talking to him! My husband then asked to speak with him again before we left and when he did the doctors exact words to explain my pain was that it was all in my head. Dr. Hart has NO compassion for his patients, and in my opinion is unqualified. I have done research on what could be causing my pain and I have found around 15 different possible explanations, so for him to say its all in my head is WRONG, especially when he has done NOTHING as far as testing to try an determine or diagnose my symptoms. And when I asked him if he could refer me to another specialist for a 2nd opinion he refused to do it. 100% UNSATISFACTION!!!
