Most people don't know this, but med students in psychiatry are only there to do their required rotations. Most know absolutely nothing about psychiatry, but that doesn't stop Gill from seeing her patients very, very seldom and leaving the rest of her work to these students. They cannot say Anything or they will be in big trouble!!! She is the laziest Dr. I have ever known, but she does like to go to every seminar she can!!! Unfortunately, she hasn't learned anything at these seminars, but it gets her away from work and makes her look good. I think she should be the patient, basically because her mind works this way. She would Never pull the stunts she does in any other job; she would be fired!!! She is just another person except she has an undeserved title that gives her way too much power!!! This isn't a personal remark about her, but she has worn her hair and same style of clothes forever! What this tells me that she is not open to change or progress!! She should Definitely Not be any type of Dr., especially a psychiatrist!!!!

She only goes by old records, basically lucky if you see her once as inpatient. Other than that expect a team of students who will run their foot notes back to her. If you don't expect extra medications added to the mix. Be sure you will have a few, with increased sleep, weight gain tremors by the time she's done you may even experience inconstancy. Yes she has a sweet voice and hasn't cut her hair in 30 years. As for worldly knowledge, dysfunctional family and traumatic scenario the only thing close she's been is the cinema, educational text and novels.

Yes very kind, beautiful sweet voice but would be even more helpful is being upfront with family that are not suppotive so that that stress does not hurt the treatment ...someDoctors do that and that makes a big difference ...I know I would do that as a Doctor...same as you would'nt allow someone to take an IV out of a patient ....tell family firmly be good or else. And yes med student is sometimes compassionate and helpful....many know so little that they are wasting your time. But it really gives the "RN"S a great day off at the desk so they have very little work to do and so those days.....your emotionally shot. No Doc's and no real Nurses. Thats when its doesn't feel like Hospital care and you just feel you can't take another day of that. Its difficult to judge by a number scale.she is a good Doctor but like most sickness.in Hospitals .you see the Doctor everyday and here you can't.

Was helpful when I saw her, but since I was a patient on the ward, I rarely got to meet with her, instead I met mostly with the med student assigned. Not the best situation, I might add.
