Ratings for Dr. Geoffrey W. Temple
I will say that all of the doctors in this office are very nice. They make me feel at ease and have always given me good care - I have been a patient for year. For the most part the staff is very kind and understanding as well - except one of the secretaries who was kinda mean. However, wait time can often be pretty long - much less if you see the nurse. Also, getting through on the phone is a nightmare - enough that I am considering looking for a new doctor. Sometimes they don't even change the message to tell you they are closed and you frequently can hold for nearly an hour with no-pickup. When they say they will call you back, the frequently seem to forget.
Dr.Temple is a very good Dr. and knows his stuff. I just believe things have become a little overwhelming for him. I was a patient of his but was pushed off onto Dr. Gruzen who is a good Dr. but i prefer Dr.Temple. Hell i traveled to see Dr.Temple even after moving out of ther area. Some of the staff he had in the past were very playful and uncaring but the last time i was there they were gone good. But i will say this if your appt. is at 11 yo may be seen by 12:30 because this office does not know how to schedule. I would really hate to think Dr. Temple is doing this for the money.
I have watched time and time again the girls in this office smile through the grief patients given them about waiting, return calls, ect... but these girls put a smile on their faces and and bend over backwards to help these patients. I have also watch Dr Temple belittle his staff for things that often time they have no control over or he could have prevented by writing medications correctly or answering his messages. The unfortunate thing is he does this to these girls in front of other staff and patients. Doesn't he realize without these girls is office could not run smoothly and he himself would have to deal with more issue. He really needs to give credit where credit is do. This is a very busy office.
Practices mostly to cover his own ass. Orders un-needed tests to prevent law suits. Seldom returns calls in a timely fashion. A 2 or 3 hour wait is not uncommon in his cramped, congested waiting room. He's not like he was years ago. Reserves Rx samples for his employees and fills out forms inaccurately.Good luck if you have to contact the office by phone.
I HAVE BEEN WITH GEOFFREY SINCE HE GRADUATED FROM MEDICAL SCHOOL. THERE IS NO PRIMARY CARE PHYSICIAN LIKE HIM AROUND. HE DOES NOT GIVE YOU THE BUMS RUSH, YOU DONT GET 10 MINUTES OR LESS.THERE ARE A LOT OF PATIENTS OF HIS WHO CONSTANTLY **** ABOUT WAITING TO SEE HIM. IF YOU ARE SICK, SIT YOUR LAZY BUTT IN THE SEAT AND WAIT(FIRST SHUT YOUR MOUTH).REMEMBER, HE IS NOT ONLY SEEING YOU, BUT TAKING CALLS FROM HOSPITALS/DOCTORS/PHARMACIES ETC,ETC,ETC. THIS MAN HAS SAVED MY REAR END COUNTLESS TIMES. I AM NOT LETTING HIM RETIRE. HE LISTENS TO YOU AND TREATS YOU LIKE FAMILY. DEFINETLY OLD SCHOOL. HE HAS GREAT CONNECTIONS WITH SPECIALISTS. SOME REALLY NICE PEOPLE IN THE OFFICE
unparallelled care. have yet to discover a generalist or specialist as genuinely caring and skilled as this man. he is a model to be emulated, tho i doubt many could achieve his standard of care, both in bedside manner, and skill set. hats off to you, Dr Temple
