Ratings for Dr. Gaffar A. Syed
Most unpleasant, careless and helpless front desk staff as well as office manager. The patient category in this MD's office is unemployed, Medicaid, work compensation patients who have nothing else to do but sit in his office and wait. Such patients like me with a good job and insurance are not appreciated. I had an insurance change and didn't realize that I needed to put his name as my PCP prior him seeing me. So I have decided to do so in the office over the phone with my insurance. My insurance successfully added his name and confirmed the office staff that it is in immediate effect. They confirmed the staff over the phone about it as well. But I was denied services that day anyway as on the system it takes 5-6 hours to see the update. I even asked them to accept cash and I will claim reimbursement from my insurance by myself, but they denied my offer. Terrible customer service. Picked more professional environment office and was seen the same day. Would never recommend!!!
This Doctor doesn't seem to care about his patients. If you take an active approach about your own health he gets angry. He doesn't run any test unles you ask. If you call his office and leave a message no one responds back. His office staff are rude. His office is nasty and smells. I tried to get a prescription fill, the woman in the office that took the message said she would get the order in but didn't. Two days passed and the pharmacy said they had not received anything from their office. I would not recommend Dr. Syed ti treat my dog!!!!
My experience to Dr Syed's office was great. I had a serious ear infection and when i called the doctor's office they were ready to accomodate me in their busy schedule. I did not have to wait a week to get the appointment. He patiently listened to my story, treated the infection and wrote me a prescription. The receptionist also fixed me with a follow up visit. His prescription worked well for me. Everything was easy going. I would definitely recommend Dr Syed.
Very little time spend with the patient, Extremely Unprofessional, seemed to be in a rush, spend less than 3 minutes with my 09 month old niece, who was running a fever and prescribed antibiotics without adequate checking. Overall the doctor’s visit, including the interaction with her staff was not pleasant.
