I think Dr. Barley is terrific. She does not sugar-coat her advice, but says exactly what she means, and what you need to hear. Some people probably consider that rude, I find her clear and honest, which is refreshing! She has always responded thoughtfully and completely to every question I've posed, including those about long-term impacts of medications and possible side effects. She has been my doctor for more than six years, and her service has been terrific every time! The front office staff, however, does tend to take their role as gatekeeper too seriously, and it's difficult to get past the receptionist if I call with an acute problem. The Saturday hours have been particularly helpful for me in those situations.

Quick on getting in but terrible on refills. Nurse "D" is very rude. They don't care about true issue's after they are addressed. Totally Suck on getting refills, especially if they are needed early. RUDE, RUDE, RUDE. Please take the time to find someone else. Return phone calls, forget it. Go and see them in person and your are treated rudely. So sad.

I agree that Dr Bartley is very condescending. Getting refills on medication is like pulling teeth. She rarely give you a full examination, even when in for a yearly. I would like to try someone else in the practice but have been told their policy doesn't allow it. I guess they'd rather see people leave the practice than try another doctor. Makes no sense to me and not a very good business decision.

She is a very condescending doctor and she prescribes medicine like it is candy, especially tranquilizers. She will also abruptly discontinue them and does not care if you go through withdrawal. She has on multiple occasions, been very insulting, and unwilling to help when in a crisis.

She prescribes medication that is detrimental to ones health without thinking about the long term consequences. She doesn't discuss side effects and when asked about them, she acts as if they don't exist or don't matter. She is condescending and cold.

Mary Bartley is a very poor doctor with relation to sensitivity to the patient and family. Upon bringing my elderly mother to her after several falls she never touched her or examined her but rather suggested she consider physical therapy for muscle strength. Two days later on a subsequent fall, I finally forced her to check her and she found excessive fluids in abdomen and legs which resulted in a later diagnosis of a life threatening disease. Raymond center is a very poor responding facility. The doctor never personally calls you back. You wait on the phone at great lengths every time you call. I would not recommend this place at all. Dr. Andrew Fay is the only sensitive and caring Dr. in the place. I cannot speak about Dr. Abare who is new I don't know him. I have experienced every doctor in the place and find them all to be rude and insensitive. I am not one to usually complain either. Dr. Noble was very good and very thorough but she is no longer with them.

I love Dr Bartley but agree about her staff and the practice as a whole..they are terrible. I only keep with her as I really think she is a good doctor and she gives you her undivided attention once you can actually get an appointment with her. FALLON INSURANCE

Dr. Bartley is a good doctor but her staff is horrible. They are rude and slow to follow-up on prescription refills/ appt. requests. Overall the office is extremely unorganized and everytime you call you will speak to someone new and have to explain something all over.
