Ratings for Dr. Gerald Fulton
If you are at the end of your ropes and open to a unique clinic and doctor Dr. Gerald Fulton is for you. Answer his questions honestly and he will help you. I just went yesterday and I already feel a difference from the chronic pain I have been dealing with from a car accident over 2 years ago. No one has been able to get to some of the biggest issues I have been dealing with like Dr. Gerald Fulton. This doctor looks at the body in a way I have never seen before, I am amazed. You just have to be open to possibilities and put in the work. If you want to heal, you will heal.
It's very difficult to have confidence in a doctor whom upon every answer responds with rude, atagonistic responses and upon walking in basically admits he can't see me. [ I have never been in this situation before and found it extrememly absurd, Mr Fulton thought it would be best to ataognize and tell me how my answers weren't good enough to nearly every responce, with rude attitude, how I should have the answers to these medical questions that I am actively seeking medical attention for and make me feel so uncomfortable right from the beginning. His receptionist is very lovely. Upon swallowing his demeanor, I tried to continue the best I could until he asked me why I am sabotaging myself by doing too much. I explain to him that Ive had a difficult time finding balance between what I was once able to do and what I can do now - like some days I can't lift my hands to feed myself and others I am fine. It's not an easy balance and it's not something mentally easy to deal with and then you have this man telling me that's not a good enough answer, and I finally couldn't take it. I was already crying, across from him but I knew he couldn't see it because he said he couldn't even see the glasses on my face. I told him that I found him very rude, I thanked him for his time and left the room, grabbed my stuff, thanked the receptionist who was very kind and left as he just yelled from the other room "WAIT WE CAN FIX THIS". because I did not want to become verbally aggressive as a result of his behavior. So I just kept repeating, No thank you, no thank you, no thank you -- as I left the building. Yeah sure. You won't even listen to me or hear me out before you are opening your mouth with something rude., or how you know nothing you're just an old man. To repsond with "I spent 16 years in a wheelchair your answers not good enough" to my explaining how im struggling finding balance on doing too much and it causing the chronic myofascial pain that happens to me. You tell me my files so interesting yet you are so ignorant not to listen to me? I waited 6 months for this appointment. What a fucking wreck. I already had one abusive Gerald in my life.
After seeing a long list of sports injury doctors, physiatrists, physiotherapists, surgeons, and chiropractors who couldn't figure out why I couldn't walk after being injured, it was Dr. Fulton who figured out exactly what had been injured and what type of practitioner I needed to fix the injuries. Dr. Fulton is not overly pleasant as a personality; however, as my case proves, he knows how to make good diagnoses in even the most complicated cases. Also, he spends a lot of time with each patient.
After trying every possible treatment for Sciatica, I finally found him. I did not get relief instantly after his suggested exercise, but that's where I started to get better. He pointed out very unusual causes of sciatica, but he was right. One of the best doctors, I have come across ever.
I was sceptical when I went to the house office. But don't let that stop you. This man, is a wonder. He is an 80year old thin, Santa Clause looking, blind man with limited mobility. He takes the time to listens to your health/illness story. He notices everything about how you walk, sit, posture, and he connects the dots to dexplain why and what to do. With subtle movement he assessed and managed my pelvic, back, shoulder pain. He connected me with other doctors to help manage other health isssues (bladder, bowel, hormones). Dr. Fulton is a magic man. I have never seen anyone assess and understand the holistic management of health, injuries and pain so accurately. I am in awe and wonder at this caring, delightful, inspirational man. What a remarkable Doctor! Thank-you
To all the People that rate this Doctor's House etc, etc. Get a Life. I have seen this Doctor twice and driven in from Burlington Both Times. Yes, He works out of his house, and there are nicer houses... BUT....He cares more about his patients and is more concerned about looking after their issues than "Next". It costs a Lot for a Fancy office and a lot of "Doctors" can write a prescription for a lot of pills in five minutes. This Doctor will listen and help you, but will not give you Narcotics. A Lot of people wander from Doctor to Doctor and Complain if they don't get Narcotic Painkillers. He has eliminated chronic knee pain for me, and showed me how to maintain the pain free level using a $2 bicycle innertube. This last visit he got rid of 80 percent of my sciatica pain the First visit WITHOUT DRUGS. He is a Gentleman in this time of people getting into the Medical Field only for the Money. I heard he has recently written a book about his techniques and it is about to be published. I would Love to get a copy...Read this posted by a fellow practitioner. It tells You all you need to know...http://www.massagetherapycanada.com/technique/bodywork-2036...If you have pain..In my 61 years I have NEVER met a more Knowledgeable Doctor and would unequivocally recommend him in you want to live pain free without drugs. The people that write negative things about this Doctor should be ashamed. Yes he is old, and has white hair AND a Long White Beard, But Think of him as Gandolf. He can barely walk yet still strives o improve people's lives. THAT is Passion, He is that Caring and Good. Sorry to ramble, but some of the negative reviews that I have read made me truly angry. I hope that you have a chance to meet this amazing man if you have issues that no one else can cure.
