Ratings for Dr. Gurupal Brar
After my old family doctor retired someone recommended Dr. Brar to me and I couldn't be happier. I have recommended him to others as well. He definitely takes his time to understand your symptoms/concerns/questions and answers them fully so that you understand everything and aren't left with any questions afterwards.
Dr. Brar is, by far, the best doctor I have had in my 67 years of living. He takes his time to really listen to me without trying to shove pills down my throat. He really knows his stuff. Sandy is a delight! She always manages to get me in within a day or so and seems to genuinely care. All in all, I am a lucky man to have found these two
I LOVE Dr. Brar! And, whatever the other reviewers may say, I love Sandy too! Dr. Brar is smart, caring and takes time to truly address your concerns and needs. I have never felt rushed by him - even when I have shown up with a list of questions. He gives thoughtful answers and clearly knows his stuff. Honestly - an excellent, excellent doctor. Sandy is really great too. I have had to call Sandy a few times when I have been concerned about my son and she has always managed to squeeze me in - even when Dr. Brar was fully booked. She strikes me as smart, competent and I absolutely trust her. She may seem busy at times - but I think that is because she is. She seems really on top of things, which I appreciate. I have been with Dr. Brar for less than 6 months (I think), but I have seen him on several occasions about several issues. All I can say is - I am really happy to have found him and Sandy. It has been a while since I have had such nice things to say about a doctor. I am a tough marker.
Love this office. I've been through my share of doctors, and Dr. Brar is an exceptional doctor. Very kind and attentive. His assistant, Sandy, is always laughing and is very cheerful which makes for a very pleasant environment. Thank you for making the doctor’s office one less scary place to go
Dr. Brar is my family Dr, and he is wonderful. He takes his time and really listens to me....not making me feel rushed in any way. He is, for the most part, on time as well. Sandy, his receptionist, is simply wonderful. I was surprised to read such reviews of her as she has always been nothing but accommodating to me and my family. Shes very pleasant to talk to. I think people need to understand, receptionists deal with rude patients all day, even the best of us have our days....although I've never seen this side of her before. I work in a walk in clinic, and believe me...dealing with you patients all day is a headache. Demanding ungreatful patients for the most part. My family and I love Dr. Brar and Sandy, my kids look forward to seeing them both every time I mention going to the doctor. Great experience, keep up the good work you two
i totally agree. Dr. Brar is a good and helpful doctor. He is my family doctor now. But the receptionist is the opposite. She is the rudest receptionist I have ever meet. She doesn't act as a professional. Doesn't even acknowledge you when you check in for your appointment or smile. Always chewing gum or roll her eyes to people. I don't even know why she works as a receptionist when she shows that she seems to be not happy working
I absolutely agree. Dr. Brar is very helpful and tries to get to the root of the problem instead of throwing antibiotics at everything. Very genuine and approachable as well. As for the receptionist, I avoid her at all cost and try to see Dr.Brar when he's the walk-in doctor on duty. I tried to be overly nice to her because I also work in customer service and I know clients can be awful, but that didn't seem to work either.
