I have recent experience of subjecting my mother aged above 80 years, to a neurosurgery at the hands of Dr.Prithvi Varghese neurosurgeon at Lakeshore Hospital, Kochi, for removal of meningioma which in medical terms was referred to as T1W1 isointense extra axial lesion measuring 5.4* 3.5*3.7 cm. While the advanced age of the patient itself posed a challenge, the fairly large size of lesion, did make it even more challenging. I should say, she had a smoothe surgery, followed by a pleasant experience at post surgical recovery, thanks to the proficiency of the doctor, besides his most amiable, cordial and considerate approach to his patient(s). We have the conviction that dr.prithvi Varghese certainly brings to bear, a divine touch for recovery of ailment of his patient(s). G.RAJESH KURUP, PATTANAKKAD, CHERTHALA

I am afsal from Trivandrum. Fate is what brought me to Dr. Prithvi varghese.. A one that saved my life despite all odds, thank god. I was afflicted with an RTA about 4 years back and succumbed to severe head injury. To be doomed those who were involved with me in the incident and was supposed to stay with me thick n thin almost backed out n yet took me to Prithvi sir at lakeshore hospital after trying 2 hospitals n some 4 hours after the incident. Apparently it's said that head injuries are so fatal that a doctor will be justified even if he operates with a rusted nail n hammer to save a person, dr. Prithvi bravely n mercifully took the decision to treat me at around 4-4.30 am. The first surgery lasted about 4 hrs... I was in medically induced coma for several days n the injury was so severe that part of my skull was removed n kept under my lower bellys skin in order to allow the swelling in my brain to subside... I got a rebirth n was introduced to the world like a new born baby.. Complete amnesia n lack of motor skills.. After months of caring by my dear kins, nursing staffs n of course prithvi sir i was rehabilitated to what im now... One of the reasons for my speedy recovery could be that no matter how busy doctor was he was always approachable, at any time n was always met with empathy n kindness.. I testify with my life as a proof to higly recommend him...
