This woman seems to know her subject. However, she refused to send my husband's blood test results to him via email when a request was sent to her. Later, during his second visit to her I accompanied him. Her memory seemed confused and she thought I had attempted to contact her to discuss his condition. She was adamant that privacy laws precluded her from discussing his condition with me - even if he gave her permission to do so. She may well be an excellent haematologist but I found her fudging of events/requests, etc. very unsettling. Upon checking with the Privacy Act guidelines it appeared that what she had told us was quite wrong which was disturbing.
