Our Story The Lumen Center was founded in 2005 by Dr. Andrew Kwak, a minimally invasive surgeon, who is renowned for his artistry, attention to detail and producing natural-looking results. The Lumen Center is located in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania and provides comprehensive cosmetic care for every stage of life: Skin care, spider and varicose vein treatments, and noninvasive face body contouring procedures. We provide the most innovative, gentle and noninvasive techniques based on Dr. Kwak’s experience in developing minimally invasive procedures at Penn. We strive for excellence in everything we do – driving us to deliver the very best aesthetic results and high-quality, compassionate care.

I had a fantastic experience with Dr. Kwak (despite the humorous name, jokes too easy) with my varicose vein treatment. He is extremely patient and answered my numerous questions as I have had horrible experiences with other vein doctors (others recommended stripping of my veins, which is barbaric). The office is professionally run and the staff are so friendly. The office is very spa-like and beautiful. Very pleased.
