I had a "complete and thorough" physical July 22 and saw Dr. Stinton again on August 21 to review all the results. I was given a clean bill of health. On September 30 I was diagnosed with Stage 4 tongue cancer, already metastasized to my neck lymph nodes with apparent abnormalities on my lungs. According to the ENT surgeon, it was extremely likely that I had these symptoms at least three months. In addition, after the diagnosis September 30, when I went in to see him, he did not ask me how I was and would not sign a 90 medical certificate. He insisted that I should be working daily at least 4 hours a day - because I had not signed a surgical release. I am glad I had an advocate with me in the examining room listening to him, I would not have trusted my memory of his inept and inane comments. DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR.
