Ratings for Dr. Gary A. L'Europa
I was one of Dr L'Europa's first patience when his NeuroHealth location in Warwick was brand new. So new, that some of the cosmetic work was still incomplete and he was working solo (very soon this after he hired a second neurologist; Dr. Goldhaber. There is no question that Dr. L'Europa is an excellent neurologist. However, his interactions with his patients then was marginally warm; and as the practice (Yea, I would agree, "business") grew, he became less patient centered. He transferred me to Dr. Goldhaber with no consultation with me; nor notice. I learned I was transferred when I called to make a follow up appointment with him. Signage about available products and other services sprang up as quickly as the addition to the building. If you are willing to accept his approach, then by all means, see him. He is a very good doctor. But, please, to those of you who do see him; it would be most honest to admit that he is very business minded; which has absolutely affected his "bedside manner". By the way, being transferred to Dr. Goldhaber was actually a positive. She continues to be my neurologist. Love her! Although, she like others previously on the NeuroHealth team; has long since left that practice. Hmmmm....?
Very Rude and Arrogant Does not spend more than 3 minutes with you, all of the work is completed by a Nurse Practitioner. Does not care about your concerns that you went their with and offers no help, because he does not take the time out of his day to listen to your concerns. I would rate him one of the Worse Doctors and Rhode Island and do not understand how he is allowed to practice, his license should be suspended, as he is not a professional Specialist my any means. All he obviously cares about is how much money he can generate out of the Business, and that is exactly what he is, a Business, not a Doctor. Perhaps he should have went into the Legal Field as opposed to the Medical Field, it's all about the revenue
The staff is amazing. Dr. L'Europa is incredibly knowledgeable and the nurse practitioners have an impeccable bedside manner. I see my nurse practitioner Talia each time, and she is competent, caring and to the point. I know she consults the neurologist on the occasional issue- however I know they are on the same page and I have great confidence in both their judgement and the comprehensive care they provide me. It seems only people who post on this website are the disgruntled patients , who had either a rare experience or are incredibly demanding.
I met Dr L'Europa yesterday. His office staff were very nice. The RN who took my information and did part of the test was just wonderful. When the doctor came in to finish the test, he was just as nice, he made me feel comfortable, he told me everything I needed to know and answered every question. I would recommend him to family and friends.
Dr. Gary L'Europa is a man that operates a business in which the nervous system of the human body provides him a career and opportunity to generate profit through processing patient's health insurance plans. His business model is to reach into every component of medical service available to the patient and have it available in house to maximize profits by keeping the billing expenses to the insurance companies in his house, as a resource to offer his patient's as a service regimen, and capture every transaction that the business can turn into a profit for the business. To understand health and medicine and especially the intricate nature of the human nervous system, the physician has to absorb some of the patient to truly connect and then to teach the patient. I think Dr.L'europa has his way, or entered the field for his own agenda, he is a insurance processing expert, not a caring doctor. If you go to a doctor to truly want to help yourself, you can find better.
