What a horrible experience with Routley and his staff. I have now waited more than 5 weeks for him to arrange an "urgent" blood transfusion. Multiple follow up calls to no avail. Just received a message from his staff to say the surgery is shutting down immediately for the xmas break and to see my GP for some iron tablets. Routley seems to have forgotten that his diagnosis was that I cannot absorb iron effectively through my gut - thus his initial recommendation for a transfusion. I seriously question Routley's ability to deliver good quality care.
