Dr. Kim is one doctor who needs to be stopped. He doesn't check medical history and doesn't communicate with the other, main, doctors working with a patient. Then he is rude about making his uninformed point. He should be strung up by his toenails and I will post this everywhere I can. Stay well away. Also recently told my girlfriend who eats only home-cooked organic fresh vegetables, to go on a processed diet-drink diet. So ignorant, so dangerous. Did you know doctors like this aren't required to take any nutritional classes at all? Sick man.

I can see why some patients may not like Dr. Kim's direct style. He won't prescribe meds if the person's request seems improper. He always explains alot about effects of meds, causes for any illness, refers me to other very good drs. &very encouraging of my personal goals. He's told of other patients pursuing business ideas but NEVER mentions names & only to be supportive. He listens, works w/you to keep you healthy, but won't cater to "loser" requests. B/c he's a one-dr. office, he hates interruptions by salespeople, which may explain some criticisms. Yet he truly provides personalized service. No other dr. has ever explained so thoroughly many health issues I didn't know to ask about. His practice isn't for everyone, but I really wish more drs. were as honest, forthright and open-minded as Dr. Kim.

I was in his Rancho Palos Verdes office and was shocked to hear him use profanity and yell inappropriately down the hallway in front of all of his patients. However I see from the other reviews on here that it is a pattern that apparently has gone on for years. He exhibits behavior indicating that he has a lot of hate and rage for some reason. It is hard to understand why someone like this ever became a physician in the first place other than perhaps he likes the status and wants to feel superior to average people. Don't go to him unless you have to and then be prepared to have him humiliate people in front of everyone else.

He is on a special contract with the longshore community in San Pedro..Local 13, 63,etc..he only takes longshoreman and nobody else! He humiliates them by stating to get out of his office right in front of clients! He is a ONE man office, no nurse, CNA or assistants of any kind! His office has the blinds drawn and it looks suspicious upon entering! It is in a storefront mall situation...He bad mouths his patients to other patients and discloses their illnesses to his other patients..calling basically everyone a piece of garbage to put it mildly..why is he working in a union town, when he feels he is so superior to these longies..and laborers...he is a pill writer and that is about it..no blood pressure is taken nor other precautionary measures when you visit his desk/appointment room...He sits and gossips with bad patients about other bad patients..and believe me, the word gets around~if you haven't already heard of his disloyalty to his patients!!
