Ratings for Dr. Ikram Nizam
I had surgery 1 year ago and am still limping. I guess every doctor gets some poor results but don't be fooled by this doctors online reviews - it's not all amazing for everyone.
I had a Total Knee Replacement 3 weeks ago done by Dr Nizam - I was up walking in hours of surgery and continued on from there. He seems to have perfected the TKR as I had no pain - just a tiny bit uncomfortable every now and then - I had two nights in hospital and 6 nights in rehab - which I loved. Home and driving by Day 14 of surgery - back at Yoga and Pilates - being careful of course. Riding a stationary bike twice a day for 30 mins and walking everyday. I avoided walking anywhere before my surgery. I can not recommend Dr Nizam more highly- been singing his praises ever since my surgery. He is AMAZING!
I cannot praise Dr Nizam more highly for my recent total double anterior hip replacement. (Yes, both at once). I was in debilitating pain prior, couldnt even walk around a supermarket or sleep through the night with pain killers, as I had been putting if off for years, after hearing so many horror stories. However once I'd met Dr Nizam, and understood the anterior method, I had no doubt in my mind he was the man. There was minimal, manageable pain post surgery for a couple of weeks (such a relief from how it was before!!!). 3 days in hospital, 11 days in rehab which was brilliant. 6 weeks on I am walking 6kms a day, am flexible and comfortable and now on the pilates machine at rehab. Its been an incredible transformation. The scarring is minimal, now a flat fading red line. I may have been a little slow in posting this, however I have been recommending (broadcasting) Dr Nizam to everyone I speak to from day one. If you need to consider hip replacement, or have been putting it off as I was, don't hesitate any longer. I have said it to his face and to everyone else I speak to, he is brilliant! Thankyou Dr Nizam and also to your amazing, supportive staff.
Had a total right knee replacement 3 weeks ago. I was scared to get it done. Seen my sister and mother go through it many many years ago and seen the pain they went through and I was not going to get it done. Honestly I felt no pain as such, just a little discomfort. Nothing like I was expecting. Dr Nizam, don’t know how and what you do, but you are a miracle worker. I recommend you to everyone. Coming back to do my left knee.
Can not believe I had a hip replacement two weeks ago. No pain and am walking around without crutches . Had my other hip replaced Four years back , was in hospital two weeks, rehab for three weeks and pain and discomfort for a couple of months. Was expecting a similar situation. This whole procedure was a miracle to me and nobody believes I had a hip replacement. Can’t him enough. Annette
I play golf 5times a week. I was scared of this new bikini anterior hip replacement at first. However in hospital only overnight compared with conventional hip replacement 8 days. Results excellent and now playing golf after 8 weeks. I can recommend dr. Ikram Nizam and his staff to anyone wanting a hip replacement. Many thanks to Dr. Ikram Nizam.
I have just completed my 2 week post-op check with Dr Ikram Nizam and everything is going very well. Only 33 hours in hospital, largely off painkillers and now walking with a cane. My limp is totally gone, and it seems now it is a matter of building strength and endurance. I am looking forward to again being able to take long walks. My anterior hip replacement experience seems to be much better than my brother's experience with a posterior hip replacement 12 months ago - my recovery seems much quicker and easier and I have much greater initial mobility. I would highly recommend Dr Ikram Nizam and anterior hip replacement surgery for anyone needing to be able to properly walk again.
