My experience with professor Bagratee is a very disappointing one having been diagnosed with fibroids with severe pain as I am a cash patient as I did not hve the R96 000 to hve the op he was very rude and impatient made me wait until he saw all his other patients never in my life was I treated so badly I left his rooms feeling worse off emotionally he is a very inconsiderable rude professor who puts money before his patients.

An amazing doctor whom my family believes to have the Midas Touch. His immense knowledge, support, spiritual guidance, patience and tolerance helped me through one of the darkest, most painful and traumatizing periods of my life. I first met Prof in June 2016, after experiencing debilitating abdominal pain, which even prevented me from walking. He confirmed that I had a severe case of Endometriosis, for which I required a laparoscopy. I underwent a 4.5 hour long surgery in August 2016, which changed my life forever. For the first time in a very long time, I was pain-free. The surgery was a success and Prof advised us that due to excessive damage during a previous pregnancy I would experience great difficulty conceiving. Having lost my 10-day old baby in 2012, I was desperate to have a baby. Seeing others with babies depressed me to the point that I no longer wanted to visit relatives or even go shopping. But Prof offered a solution. Yes, it was expensive but we wanted a baby so desperately. After starting the treatment, Prof saw me almost on a daily basis, even at 8pm. Often we would wait hours to be seen but we never minded because we knew that he could be helping save someone's life or better yet, bringing a new life into this world. We also knew that every patient always gets the time they need with Prof and are never rushed just so that the waiting room is not full to capacity. After undergoing the treatment I waited with bated breath for the pregnancy results and we were fortunate to receive a call from Prof himself to congratulate us on our pregnancy. My pregnancy was no walk in the park (no pun intended). It was a very difficult and risky pregnancy which had me hospitalized for 5 weeks in the first trimester and 10 weeks in the third trimester. Prof's daily ward rounds (morning and evenings) were encouraging and spiritually uplifting. His guidance, careful and excellent medical care helped me through the day and eventually the month. On being discharged the first time, I was not permitted to walk around and had to be in a wheelchair when going out. A very special experience in my life was turning out be very stressful and depressing but Profs spiritual guidance helped us through it. When in the third trimester I awoke to heavy bleeding (24 weeks into my pregnancy) I had lost all hope. We called Prof from home at 4:30am and he was at the hospital at 5am. At this stage I was diagnosed with placenta previa and had to be hospitalized for the remainder of the pregnancy. His constant support, encouragement and dedication helped my husband and I through the darkest days of our lives. And finally when at 32 weeks a decision was taken to deliver my baby, I had complete faith in Profs abilities. His caring nature does not end with his patients- he even saw my baby twice daily whilst she was in NICU even when he is doing ward rounds at 10pm- no gynae does this . Today I have my baby in my arms and it is all due to GOD's grace working through Prof who truly has blessed hands and a good heart. Even his staff were very accommodating, helpful and caring. Immensely grateful for all the support, excellent medical care at St Augustine's maternity ward and Prof's warm and caring, yet professional nature as well as the depth of his knowledge. we feel as if though Prof is part of our family. Love Sujeet, Jessica and Baby Suri

I sit with my baby in my arms today watching him sleep as memories fade back into tragic and troubled years before he could be born. It all began when I 1st fell pregnant having had a blighted ovum at 8 weeks. It was then that we booked a D n C with Professor Bagratee. He assured us that sad moments like this would pass by quickly and we will have a baby soon. Not long after that I fell pregnant again only for professor to detect I had PCOS which was why I couldn't carry past 3 months. Adamant enough for my husband and I to have a baby we insisted on having IVF done. Professor advised us that wouldn't be necessary if we have enough faith in him we can conceive naturally. He put me on the Bagratee diet and encouraged me to lose at least 10kgs in 6 weeks which I had listened and entrusted in him with brilliant results clearing the PCOS. Professor advised and assured us that we would have a beautiful healthy baby with his help. 3 months later I fell pregnant again with the support, patience and blessing of an incredible husband that God has blessed me with. Professor guided us through every step and ensured all necessary tests were done. He even detected when my water levels got lower at da last stages of third trimester and still gave us hope and courage. To my astonishment when I turned 36 weeks I was diagnosed with PUPP, a skin condition where you break out in itchy blotches, that led me to want the caesarian done asap. My wonderful husband was my support and angel through this all with utmost patience. Professor was so patient and made sure he visited me in hospital twice and sometimes thrice a day. With his busy schedule and hectic lifestyle as such a brilliant specialist and Professor he still makes the time to see his patients and cares for them as a father. He's truly a God sent and angel in disguise. A day later he admitted me to theatre and being as loving and caring he delivered our beautiful son being as healthy and gorgeous as we imagined and wished for. We could not have had this miracle especially this soon without the help and guidance of this angel in Professors form. He cares for every one of his patients and those who put their complete and full trust in him should have patience and allow him to do his job. Just by listening to him your prayers would be answered. His staff are just as amazing and friendly and have a beautiful smile each and every time we are at his rooms. Professor Bagratee is God to us and he has filled out heart with this beautiful baby. He is the best gynaecologist and OB anyone could imagine and I would still attend appointments with him checking me up with papsmears and future pregnancies. I rate him 200% as a brilliant specialist and pray he be blessed by God and always be successful. I wouldn't have made it till the end without the help of a caring husband, a loving family and our fantastic Professor Bagratee. We love you Prof. Lots of love Mr and Mrs Singh.

Thank you Prof. Bagratee. You are indeed God sent! I was diagnosed with an ovarian cyst at the age of 44, needless to say, I was in lots of pain. I visited Prof . Bagratee and he admitted me to hospital, on the 1st of September I had my op done. I was very scared as this was the first op I had ever done. His knowledge is incredible. He reassured me that all will be well, and it was. When I say Dr was God sent, it's true. After I came out of theatre I felt like I had'nt even had an op. He is truly divine. I paid an upfront fee, which was worth the quality of service I received from Dr. If you want the best, you have to pay the price..... I will never forget the smile i had on my face the day I had the op. I am eternally grateful to Dr, the op was very successful. He has blessed hands. Prof. bagratee is excellent. Thank you Dr for being the wonderful human you are, you have always said that God, but you are also to be thanked!

Prof. Bagratee, where do i begin? So i have initially visited Prof. when i was just 21 years old. 10 years later i have the blessed opportunity of having Prof deliver my beautiful baby. From the day Prof Bagratee had confirmed my pregnancy, during each consultation it has been nothing short of ultimate caring. He is so reassuring especially as i am a first time mom and all the questions and anxiety. His knowledge is distinctive. His warm greetings upon entering his rooms, and scolding like a Father made us grow closer and created alot of trust and comfort. As the days got closer i became anxious yet excited. For some one who never stayed in hosp for more than hour as a patient i was terrified. Apart from being the best i have ever known. Prof is also some one i call an Acharya ( an influential spritual mentor) his deep love for GOD and devotion was a characteristic that got my attention. Prof. visited every morning and evening reassured me and also prayed using some of the most amazing chants. I was instantly feeling comforted. Prof. is a blessed person the memory of having my baby delivered was a state of Utopia, perfection! He brought my baby into this world with GODS name being chanted and he also kept my husband involved each step of the way ensuring he had an opportunity to experience the process. Too often, i would sometimes read complaints about how long the wait is at Prof. rooms or how expensive his fees are. The wait is long however it is simply because Prof is thorough and meticulous. He will answer all your questions and also ensure his examinations and scans are analysed thoroughly. His fees are high i agree but then again simple.. if you want 200% care, professional knowledge and the best treatment and recovery then that is the reason, as i can personally say since day one iv felt so stress free knowing i have a professional who has one of the highest knowledge in the medical field and also a MAN OF GOD which is so essential. Prof.indeed has blessed hands and a heart of GOLD. I would have never chosen any other way as my experience under his supervision was excellent. Thank You Prof . Bagratee for always being so amazing and not forgetting your lovely reception and practice management team who are always so friendly and helpful. God bless you always, Jai Sri Raam Loads of love, SP and RP

The greediest business I have ever dealt with. I refuse to call him a "professor or doctor" as his interest lies not with the patient but the money he makes off the patient. He was my consulting doctor and had seen to me at hospital.I was rushed to trauma unit for excessive bleeding. He called the doctor at the trauma unit to tell me to come see him at his rooms. He pitched up 2 hours late for my appointment. I bled continuously for 5 hours prior to him seeing me. To top it all, he charged me a consult fee of R1200-00 when i was at the hospital trauma unit where he could have come to see me!!! He had informed me that I needed surgery to remove to huge cysts in my uterus and without operating it would lead to further complications. He had told me to come to his rooms after being discharged from hospital in order for him to explain to me the procedure. Upon calling his receptionist, she asked me to come to the rooms with R1200-00 consulting fees and R20 000-00 for them to book theater. I told her that I was unaware of the amount and was informed about it by Bagrathee. In response she had told me I was "too ill" for him to explain the procedure and that when I gather the money I must come back to book an appointment. The issue was not the money. The issue was being UNSCRUPULOUS and not putting the patients well being as priority. Nobody is asking for his charity. All we want is clarity for all and any matter relating to the operation. People like this must have their practicing license withdrawn!!!

After a 7year struggle with polycystic ovarian syndrome pcos, a miscarriage, a few courses of clomid, lots and lots of negative home pregnancy test results and lots of hartache and tears a relative told me about Professor Bagratee had helped her fall pregnant after she also struggled for many years. Her advice to me was just listen to whatever he tells you and do it. In March 2017 we went for our first consult. Prof examined me and then said " My dear you need to lose 20kg before i can do anything to help you. Heres my eating plan. Il see you in a month , you should be atleast 5kg lighter by then. If u listen to me you will have your baby. " I walked out thinking Oh my God 20kg! Is he mad? I cant do that. After sleeping over it i realised this was a decision i had to make if i really wanted a child of my own. I had nothing to lose. I decided to give it a go. No other doctor had ever given me such an ultimatum. I started the eating plan and my weight started to drop kg by kg. It was difficult honestly and truly very difficult. It took a lot of will power to say NO to many things. Everyone started to notice. I looked good and i felt great. It also improved my self confidence. But most importantly with every visit the cysts started to disapear. It improved with every visit as i lost more weight. In September i had lost my 20kg and Prof advised that i was ready to start treatment. Bought the fertility injections and everything. To our surprise in October i was already pregnant. And it miraculously hapend naturally. We were so excited buy very scared as it was still quite early. But with lots of prayer and Professors guidance every step of the way in June this year our beautiful healthy baby girl was born. We are so blessed to have her and we couldnt have done this witout Prof Bagratee. He is truly an expert in his field. I would recommend every women to go to him. My advice would be to listen to whatever he tells you and do it with all your heart. Nothing in this world can replace the feeling of holding your child in your arms. My husband and i are eternally greatful to Professor Bagratee and we pray that God will bless him with a healthy long life so that he can be around for our next baby. Thank you Prof you are truly a miracle worker. God has blessed you with great knowledge and wonderworking hands. Thank you for giving us this precious gift. I am living proof that God exists and miracles do hapen and God uses people like Professor Bagratee to help us. We just need to exercise discipline. If you want something badly enough refuse to be offended. Just look at the bigger picture. It will be worth the try. Lots of love Darryll and Camille Govender

Prof Bagratee is truly a blessing from above and a "Life saver" ... Literally!!! On the initial visit, we found Prof to be very respectable, professional and thorough. After being highly recommended to Prof by a friend, we were really looking forward to someone who took their work seriously and created comfort and calmness each time we met and that's exactly what we got and alot more! At 1 stage during my wife's pregnancy, we were contemplating changing Gynae's due to financial reasons but we stuck it out with Prof because we wanted only the best care possible and we have not regretted that decision .35 weeks into our pregnancy, on our usual weekly check up, Prof discovered that the umbilical cord was wrapped around our baby girls neck which could lead to serious medical issues and even losing our precious girl. Prof made a decision to have an emergency delivery, our hearts started beating immensely and we was filled with shock, with everything going on, Prof assured us that it's the right thing to do and everything will be ok, he had cancelled his plans for the night just so that he could do the emergency c-section. Prof delivered our healthy Princess in a full veil at 21:12 on 25th July 2017 :) Our girl will be 2 months tomorrow and is doing great, she is healthy and weights just under 5kgs. It's through God and Prof that we have had our miracle baby and we cannot thank Prof enough for the work he does and the abilities he has to do his work with such Excellence and dedication his dedication to the job he does is exceptional!!! All the long waits at each appointment was SO worth it! Prof, THANK YOU AND GOD BLESS Regards Azaria, Ricardo and baby Ziyanah:)
