As I hold you in my arms today my gorgeous little boy, I look back on the journey we took to bring you into this world, and all the joy and warm feelings you bring , This is all praise to Professor, There is not enough words to Thank you Professor and we hope that one day we can offer you our favour. Anyone trying to conceive with or without difficulties, I can only advise you to put your faith and dedication in the Professor, and rest assured he will give you the golden touch many of us have received. Our 2 year journey with other specialist left us with no hope and a negative 200 to 300k cash in procedures and treatments. After alot of research we stepped into Professors office in July 2016 , were our problem was immediately picked up. The reassuring words and operation that took place in October 2016 set things right for us which many other doctors failed with. The best news came a month later, the one that has changed our lives forever and its something that Money or time cannot buy. Its sad to see there is some negative comments on this site which I think all boils down to impatience... good things take time. And remember you are not waiting for a happy meal... Be patient ,the professor will also give you is undivided attention... Thanks again Prof!!! Om Sai Ram... Mr Padayachee

Proffesor Bagratee an amazing, incredible, patient doctor. He knows his work and is very experienced. Just trust his judgement and follow his instructions and you will get your desired result as we did. Proffesor Bagratee treats his patients like family, As you read the reviews you read that proffesor Bagratee knowledge is above and beyond and I think everyone should focus on that. You want the best, you have to be patient he is highly in demand. Proffesor Bagratee character he is a remarkable human being and a God sent. I had my son with proffesor Bagratee after 5 year's and we had our fair share of ups and downs from weight problems, miscarriage, pcos, endometriosis, IUI's and 3 rounds of IVF. But remember there is treatment and solutions for it all. Professor has been very patient with us through it all. Always have faith in doctor & god because they work hand in hand.It is easier to trust God in the good times. It takes much more faith to keep that trust during painful trials. Tough times happen to everyone. It is sometimes difficult to believe that God is willing to take you through the impossible situations in your life. Faith and prayers is the most important thing that you must have. You might go to other's gynecologist but you'll still come back to Professor. I Thank God everyday for a healthy baby Regards Kumashni and Shallan Hanuman God bless

I had 2 miscarriages and 3 surgeries. We tried so many times to have a baby. Finally someone had told us to see Prof and how amazing he was, so that’s exactly what we did. On meeting him for the first time he was so cheerful, encouraging, treated us as family. He promised me that if I listen to him I will have a baby. It was a long road and I was not an easy patient. I had to be hospitalized 3 times while pregnant but Prof always made sure I was okay and assured me that everything will be fine. On the 13th of April due to health issues I had to have Baby at 35 Weeks. While delivering Baby I had complications and had to be in theatre for over 3 hours, but knowing that I had Prof as my Doctor I didn’t have a worry at all as I knew I was in the best hands. Today my baby boy is healthy and fills our hearts and lives with Joy. We cannot believe how fast time flew by and he will be 8 Months in a few days. I will recommend Prof to everyone. We will always be grateful to you Prof for giving us the best gift ever in our lives, Our Precious Baby Boy Shivay ♥️ Lashan & Lisha Pillay (Richards Bay)

It has been our first pregnancy and we did not know what to expect. Our experience throughout the pregnancy was a good one, given that we had Prof Bagratee as our health care professional that guided us throughout. His professionalism in theatre was amazing and the delivery of our son in July 2017 was blessed by Prof. We have seen first handed where he puts his patients first and ensures that they get the best treatment from other health care professionals where required to do so during the pregnancy. His focus on both the health of the baby and mother is truely amazing throughout and post pregnancy. We are thankful Prof for the great health care service and deliver of our son. God Bless... This doctors claim to fame is his own self praise. Do not be fooled by the title professor next to his name. His attitude towards his patients are terrible. He is rude, abrupt & condescending. I have caught him lying many times & his story is always changing during his consult. He does not practice what is in his patients best interests & has made many mistakes in his method of treatment. He carelessly pushes for surgeries to make money. His follow up consult is no cheaper than his first consult. He makes u pay him cash upfront before he does any surgery on you in hospital & tells you to claim from medical aid yourself. He insists you have GAP cover because he charges 500% above what medical aid pays. He calls himself a religious man yet he is so full of greed & has no compassion for people. His punctuality is appauling. He will make you wait 4 hours after your appointment to see him. He has no respect for his patients time & has other restless pregnant women & tired sick patients waiting hours to see him even though they have appointments. He books his appointments 15 minutes apart knowing he is going to make all his patients wait. This is not a reflection of how dedicated this doctor is to his job but rather the truth of how money hungry & careless he is with patients time & does not look out for their best interests that he books appointments so close together & consults until late hours complaining of how tired he is. He even runs late for surgeries. This is very poor planning on his side & I would not trust my life or any babies lives in the hands of a man that cannot even plan a schedule or respect time let alone his patients. I do not recommend this doctor. There are other better fertility doctors than him at the hospital.

My experience with professor Bagratee is a very disappointing one having been diagnosed with fibroids with severe pain as I am a cash patient as I did not hve the R96 000 to hve the op he was very rude and impatient made me wait until he saw all his other patients never in my life was I treated so badly I left his rooms feeling worse off emotionally he is a very inconsiderable rude professor who puts money before his patients.

An amazing doctor whom my family believes to have the Midas Touch. His immense knowledge, support, spiritual guidance, patience and tolerance helped me through one of the darkest, most painful and traumatizing periods of my life. I first met Prof in June 2016, after experiencing debilitating abdominal pain, which even prevented me from walking. He confirmed that I had a severe case of Endometriosis, for which I required a laparoscopy. I underwent a 4.5 hour long surgery in August 2016, which changed my life forever. For the first time in a very long time, I was pain-free. The surgery was a success and Prof advised us that due to excessive damage during a previous pregnancy I would experience great difficulty conceiving. Having lost my 10-day old baby in 2012, I was desperate to have a baby. Seeing others with babies depressed me to the point that I no longer wanted to visit relatives or even go shopping. But Prof offered a solution. Yes, it was expensive but we wanted a baby so desperately. After starting the treatment, Prof saw me almost on a daily basis, even at 8pm. Often we would wait hours to be seen but we never minded because we knew that he could be helping save someone's life or better yet, bringing a new life into this world. We also knew that every patient always gets the time they need with Prof and are never rushed just so that the waiting room is not full to capacity. After undergoing the treatment I waited with bated breath for the pregnancy results and we were fortunate to receive a call from Prof himself to congratulate us on our pregnancy. My pregnancy was no walk in the park (no pun intended). It was a very difficult and risky pregnancy which had me hospitalized for 5 weeks in the first trimester and 10 weeks in the third trimester. Prof's daily ward rounds (morning and evenings) were encouraging and spiritually uplifting. His guidance, careful and excellent medical care helped me through the day and eventually the month. On being discharged the first time, I was not permitted to walk around and had to be in a wheelchair when going out. A very special experience in my life was turning out be very stressful and depressing but Profs spiritual guidance helped us through it. When in the third trimester I awoke to heavy bleeding (24 weeks into my pregnancy) I had lost all hope. We called Prof from home at 4:30am and he was at the hospital at 5am. At this stage I was diagnosed with placenta previa and had to be hospitalized for the remainder of the pregnancy. His constant support, encouragement and dedication helped my husband and I through the darkest days of our lives. And finally when at 32 weeks a decision was taken to deliver my baby, I had complete faith in Profs abilities. His caring nature does not end with his patients- he even saw my baby twice daily whilst she was in NICU even when he is doing ward rounds at 10pm- no gynae does this . Today I have my baby in my arms and it is all due to GOD's grace working through Prof who truly has blessed hands and a good heart. Even his staff were very accommodating, helpful and caring. Immensely grateful for all the support, excellent medical care at St Augustine's maternity ward and Prof's warm and caring, yet professional nature as well as the depth of his knowledge. we feel as if though Prof is part of our family. Love Sujeet, Jessica and Baby Suri

I sit with my baby in my arms today watching him sleep as memories fade back into tragic and troubled years before he could be born. It all began when I 1st fell pregnant having had a blighted ovum at 8 weeks. It was then that we booked a D n C with Professor Bagratee. He assured us that sad moments like this would pass by quickly and we will have a baby soon. Not long after that I fell pregnant again only for professor to detect I had PCOS which was why I couldn't carry past 3 months. Adamant enough for my husband and I to have a baby we insisted on having IVF done. Professor advised us that wouldn't be necessary if we have enough faith in him we can conceive naturally. He put me on the Bagratee diet and encouraged me to lose at least 10kgs in 6 weeks which I had listened and entrusted in him with brilliant results clearing the PCOS. Professor advised and assured us that we would have a beautiful healthy baby with his help. 3 months later I fell pregnant again with the support, patience and blessing of an incredible husband that God has blessed me with. Professor guided us through every step and ensured all necessary tests were done. He even detected when my water levels got lower at da last stages of third trimester and still gave us hope and courage. To my astonishment when I turned 36 weeks I was diagnosed with PUPP, a skin condition where you break out in itchy blotches, that led me to want the caesarian done asap. My wonderful husband was my support and angel through this all with utmost patience. Professor was so patient and made sure he visited me in hospital twice and sometimes thrice a day. With his busy schedule and hectic lifestyle as such a brilliant specialist and Professor he still makes the time to see his patients and cares for them as a father. He's truly a God sent and angel in disguise. A day later he admitted me to theatre and being as loving and caring he delivered our beautiful son being as healthy and gorgeous as we imagined and wished for. We could not have had this miracle especially this soon without the help and guidance of this angel in Professors form. He cares for every one of his patients and those who put their complete and full trust in him should have patience and allow him to do his job. Just by listening to him your prayers would be answered. His staff are just as amazing and friendly and have a beautiful smile each and every time we are at his rooms. Professor Bagratee is God to us and he has filled out heart with this beautiful baby. He is the best gynaecologist and OB anyone could imagine and I would still attend appointments with him checking me up with papsmears and future pregnancies. I rate him 200% as a brilliant specialist and pray he be blessed by God and always be successful. I wouldn't have made it till the end without the help of a caring husband, a loving family and our fantastic Professor Bagratee. We love you Prof. Lots of love Mr and Mrs Singh.
