Ratings for Dr. Walter S. Langheinrich
This Dr is a very very mean man. I wouldn't let him treat my dog. I had already undergone a lumbar fusion and a one level cervical fusion out west. I had a major flare up and made an appt with him. By this time I couldn't walk and was in a wheelchair. He screamed at me. Threatened me with possible tumors on my spine. Oh gosh I could go on and on, he is very bizarre and cruel. Do not see this Dr! I had my husband wheel me out of there immediately after I saw what kind of person I witnessed. I have had 6 spine operations. If you need surgery I would suggest going to Chicago or Cleveland Clinic. Best wishes and if you have seen this Dr and if he's treated you this way, you're not alone. It's his M.O. Best wishes
Dr. Langheirich and his staff have been very professional and helpful. I had surgery 5 weeks ago and through the entire process I felt a sincere interest in my condition and a diligence by the staff in providing a quality surgical solution to my pain. The L4-L5 fusion surgery went very well and recovery, although slow, is progressing well. The staff responds to all my quetsions and continually monitors my situation. I very much like and feel confident in Dr. Langheirich, although his communication with me was a bit abrupt, not what I wanted while I was in intense pain.
I felt at ease with the staff as well as with this doctor since I was scared stiff to even see a neurosurgeon. I had read a few bad reviews online about him and was prepared -but he was quite the opposite! He showed me exercises, prescribed meds, gave me a diagnosis -but is going to run a couple of other tests to validate.
He is the worst Dr. I have ever seen. Was sent to him by my pain Dr. to see if she was treating me right. He walked in itrduced himself and asked if I was the for drugs or surgery. I was in shock, said neither told him why he told me to tell my Dr to read a book on my condition. He was not joking, he was arrogant, nasty, a rotten human the way he treated me. I asked if I was going to get worse he said "get a chair now while they are cheap". I refused to pay him a dime and called the insurance company and told them not to pay him. This man thought he was gods gift to all of us. He needs to be gone out of the business. No compassion, care for the patient, did not want to take his time up on you if you did not have money signs on your head. The staff was so rude, I waited over an hour to see this man for 5 min. PLEASE do NOT deal with him, he is so very unkind. I wish I would have spit in his face for telling me to get a chair now while they are cheap.
