Took 4 weeks to advise a patient of results that were available well before he told the patient. Told the patient there were no changes between MRI scans when there definitely were. Disgusting doctor

We were treated with respect ,information was given in a straightforward way, there was no sense of being rushed. A wonderful attitude made us feel very positive and confident.

The content of the email (identifying the complaint) is inaccurate and is being considered legally since it has been entered in the public forum. 1. The patient's new GP interstate had posted a signed consent request to Dr Cunningham for medical information relating to her neurological condition. HOWEVER the postal address was incorrect and was not received until the end of January. 2. The GP surgery followed this through with an email and fax 29/1/15. The request was attended to and requested information was sent electronically on the 1/2/15. 3. The patient had NOT signed a permission slip to release the information to her Son hence information could not be given 4. Despite the person who identified himself as son being informed the transfer of information had taken place he continued to speak in an abusive manner to the male operator handling Dr Cunningham's calls. 5. Dr Cunningham was not "busy playing golf" he was providing medical services to rural central Queensland. 6. Without disclosing figures this patient is a Veteran Affairs patient and the services provided fell well short of the "thousands of dollars" quoted. 7. The said patient also did not keep followup appointment nor did she notify the practice of her departure from WA. 8. A letter of reminder for followup had indeed been returned from her former address "address unknown" 9. The utter rudeness as this person reported was not the male receptionist but rather the caller which necessitated the call to be terminated Furthermore if it had been an emergency request all information would have been readily available from the lady's former GP. Request was made to this public forum to verify such complaints and remove if found to be inaccurate Sincerely appreciative of the need for such a forum however there needs to be accuracy. In this instance it is lacking!

We have been trying unsuccessfully to obtain my elderly mother's records from him for two months. Her current doctor has requested the records three times and I have requested them three times. The requests have been made to his email address and via his secretary. The first requests were made in early January 2015 and the most recent requests were made on 18.02.2015. The most recent request, by phone, was received with utter rudeness by his secretary who hung up rather than try to help. Obviously Dr Cunningham is far too busy playing golf to worry about a simple request from an elderly woman who he was able to earn thousands of dollars from without helping her in any way.
