I rate My Dr Ales Aliashkevich 5/5 and have endless respect for him and his staff !they have not only saved my life but also I need more surgery shortly and considering that there is only one person to do this surgery for me !

Mr Aliashkevich has been my god ! I had to have 3 titanium disc put into my neck Mr Aliashkevich not only continually supported me through the TAC situation which was very complicated and tiring but was amazing young surgeon I was lucky enough to have been referred to in the whole of Australia as my odds were not very good by the time he got to finally proceed with my operation ! He is by far the most professional and talented surgeon in our country and I’m and my family are so thankful to have you here Ales ! I sadly am due for more spinal surgery and with no doubt in the world I would go no where else ! I highly recommend Me Ales to many people which spinal complaints with peace of mind ! I cannot adequately express the extent of my gratitude and respect for Dr Ales ashkevich and his team.the level of technical skill,dedication and professionalism needed to perform my surgical procedure Acdf c6/7 segmental internal fixation and rhizolysis is obviously a prequisite for a successful operation and recovery.the depth of confidence and level of communication transmitted through this whole process.also a special thank you to the lovely ladies at the office for their handling and seamless efforts thank you.peter kahrimanis

Twelve months ago I was in a lot of pain and had been for at least 6 months and no one could tell me what was wrong. Dr Ales was wonderful he knew straight away and operated on me. Now I can exercise , and do all thing s I couldn't before . thankyou Dr Aliashkevich.

Biography

Dr Ales Aliashkevich is a neurosurgeon, specialising in the surgical treatment of conditions involving brain, spine and peripheral nerves. His focus is to improve a patient's quality of life with minimum risk and maximum efficacy. He received the degree of Doctor of Medicine with a grade "magna cum laude" by the Rhine Friedrich-Wilhelms University of Bonn, Germany, in 1997 for the work in the field of epilepsy surgery. He completed his neurosurgical specialist training in Bonn, and was awarded a Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training (CCST) by the Specialist Training Authority (STA) of Royal College of Surgeons, United Kingdom. In 2008 he was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. Dr Aliashkevich has accomplished Cerebrovascular Fellowship in the Royal Melbourne Hospital. He has published numerous clinical and scientific papers in peer-reviewed medical journals and presented at international meetings. Dr Aliashkevich has worked as a Consultant Neurosurgeon in Wellington, New Zealand, since 2005 and was appointed as a Senior Clinical Senior Lecturer at the University of Otago, Wellington. He was also committed to his private practice at the Wakefield Specialist Medical Centre. His practice covers a broad range of adult and pediatric neurosurgery, with particular interests in minimally invasive and motion preserving spinal surgery, awake craniotomies for lesions in the eloquent brain cortex, brain tumours of the insular and medio-temporal regions, surgical treatment of epilepsy, vascular neurosurgery, neuroendoscopy, peripheral nerve surgery, neurointensive care and neuromonitoring.
