I have never met a more caring doctor. Dr. Palacios has seemed to go above and beyond to care for my needs. Even scheduling me a half hour before the clinic is to open. Listens and answers all of my questions, even on his own time by phone. I'm happy to have found such a warm, positive and helpful doctor who truly cares.

Dr. Palacios works under Dr. Black at family healing center in McMinnville, I find him to take his time and be thorough. He'll listen to your concerns and help motivate you in a positive, non pushy way. I'm so glad I decided to go to the family healing center because he has helped me get a happy outlook on my health.

Biography

Dr. David Palacios is a board-certified naturopathic physician specializing in acute and chronic pain resolution with natural therapies. Dr. David (as he likes to be called) also has a passion for taking care of families in a holistic primary care setting. After earning his bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Music, he completed his four-year medical training at the National College of Natural Medicine. Dr. David also completed an extended residency which centered on acute and chronic pain resolution, hormone balance, pediatrics, and general primary care. A foundational piece of Dr. David’s success in treating and healing is found in the six naturopathic principles: Do No Harm, Identify and Treat the Cause, The Healing Power of Nature, Doctor as Teacher, Treat the Whole Person, and Disease Prevention. Dr. David takes a detailed, patient-centered, natural and holistic approach to bring about optimal wellness and function to the individual. He believes that natural therapies should be the first line defense in treating illness and disease and should be exhausted before pharmaceutical intervention is ever considered. If patients are currently taking pharmaceutical medication, his goal is to work these patients off of pharmaceutical intervention. Dr. David utilizes a variety of conventional and naturopathic treatment modalities to best establish optimal health and wellness in his patients. Some of the modalities include: Neural Therapy, Ozone and Prolozone Therapy, botanical/herbal medicine, homeopathy, dry needle therapy, naturopathic manipulation techniques, nutritional counseling, and hydrotherapy.
