I have suffered, for over 5 years, with spinal stenosis. I have had steroid shots about every 6 months --- because I feared spinal surgery. I finally reached the point where the steroids wouldn’t work. So my pain specialist told me that he would recommend Gr. Aaron Greenberg and that if I couldn’t get an appointment he would intercede. Despite my fears, this was the best recommendation I had ever followed up on. Dr. Greenberg impressed me with his medical knowledge and bed side manner, that brought me comfort. He explained that a Lumbar Laminectomy would provide the relief of the pain, I had suffered for years. By removing the lamina, it creates more space for the spinal canal and decompresses the nerve roots, that cuase the pain. He was totally correct. The surgery took 4 hours and Dr. Greenberg told my wife that it was the worst spine he had seen in a long, long time. Despite how bad it was, Dr. Greenberg successfully corrected the problems. It is now 3 weeks since the surgery and I have had NO pain and have not been on pain meds since 2 days after surgery. For anyone who fears surgery and is suffering from pain due to spinal strenuous, I would highly recommend Dr. Greenberg.

Dr. Aaron J. Greenberg is a great surgeon. Wow! With a comparatively simple surgical procedure, he managed to reduce my Sciatic Nerve pain from 500 (no exaggeration) to practically zero at five weeks after surgery. Turned out that all the pain was caused by a ruptured disc and Dr. Greenberg went in and cleaned up the "mess" that it had caused. I would not only see Doctor Greenberg again should I have further problems with my spine, but I would highly recommend Dr. Greenberg to anyone who needed spine surgery, anywhere, anytime. He’s a natural.

Dr Greenberg is competent and thorough. He addressed all my concerns. After months of conservative treatment and denial on my part surgery was scheduled. Within 24 hours my symptoms were gone. Within a week I was off my pain medications. I couldn't have asked for a more skilled and compassionate physician.
